Just as Harvey was about to increase his bid, the distant voice echoed once again, carrying obvious arrogance.
“Six hundred million dollars, sold to Ms. Pearl!”
The sound of the gavel was heard immediately after.
Harvey didn’t even have the chance to react.
At this point, the Five Virtues Temple was no longer supporting Sharon in secret. They were blatantly standing by her side!

“This is improper!” he shouted, scornful.
“I haven’t even called my bid!”

The middle-aged priestess glanced at Harvey without even bothering to explain any further. She smiled at Sharon and said, “Please head backstage and pay first before you take the Head Coach’s broken sword, Ms. Pearl.”
“As the representative of the Five Virtues Temple, I congratulate you.”
Sharon and Murphy froze, rather stunned.
They thought Harvey would keep going and increase the bid, giving them the opportunity to buy the Head Coach’s broken sword.
They didn’t expect the legendary Maiden, Teal Leithold, to show up and call the shots herself!
With Teal’s powerful status and identity, she
could sell the item to whomever she wished.

Harvey rose from his seat, his expression ice.
“What right do you have for doing something like that?!”
“Since I’m sitting here, I have the right to bid!”
“It’s none of my business if you aren’t willing to auction this sword and wish to give it to another party in private.”
“But since you’ve already put it out here and established the auction rules, you should at least act accordingly, no?”
“It doesn’t matter who you are. Not only are you disrespecting the guests by breaking the rules willy- nilly…”
“But your actions also smear the Five Virtues Temple as a whole!”
“I heard this place is a sacred martial art training ground for South Light! I thought your
words carry weight, but I didn’t know you’d be this shameless over a mere auction item.”
“Forget it, Harvey.”
Leslie never imagined that Harvey would be this impulsive.
“That woman who just spoke is the Maiden of the Five Virtues Temple, Teal Leithold!” she whispered in hushed tones.
“Her status and identity are too powerful! We have no chance against her!”
“Even Vince York must yield to her and respect her wishes!”
“We can’t reason with her here!”
“We need to put up with this.”
Leslie was resentful, but being a woman from Hong Kong, she was more than aware of Teal’s
status.
Since Teal had already spoken, no one could defy her wishes.
While Leslie knew that Harvey had an extraordinary identity as well as impressive fighting skills, even she didn’t think he had the right to challenge Teal.
After all, she belonged to the Five Virtues Temple.
“You want me to forget about this?! Not a chance!”
Harvey snarled, his sharp eyes glaring coldly at the backseat.
