Harvey York’s Rise To Power Chapter 2554

Chapter 2554

After hearing those words, Harvey York calmly asked, “He worked for The Empire of the Sun that Never Sets?

“The eldest princess of their royalty doesn’t even matter to me. Obviously, I couldn’t care less about a subordinate like him taking advantage of his seniority.”

Harvey kept walking after he was done talking.

Soon, the two had arrived at the hanging garden through the dedicated elevator.

The place was nearly six thousand and five hundred square feet, covered in lush plants.

A guest room of about two thousand square feet was located in the middle of the garden. Well known calligraphy and paintings were hung on the walls, while traditional carved golden-silk

phoebe wood furniture was arranged all over the

room.

The entire place had an exquisite and ingenious look to it. It was indeed a rare sight.

But at this very moment, the place was a huge

mess.

Countless priceless couches and coffee tables were smashed to pieces. Shards of cups could be seen scattered all over as well.

Two elderly men were sitting in the middle of the room.

One of them had a square face with white hair while wearing a suit. He did not seem angry, but an unspeakable pressure could still be felt from him. That man was clearly Haider Bauer himself.

The other person was a western-looking man with sunken eyes, wearing a tuxedo. He seemed

quite intoxicated, but his aura was still quite

decent.

This man was the retired governor, Elmer Evans, who had worked for The Empire of the Sun that Never Sets.

A dozen people stood right behind them, with Carrie Kennedy leading the group. no

They were from the Law Enforcement of Longmen.

All of them acted all high and mighty, as if nobody deserved their attention.

Carrie was particularly arrogant. With Haider’s support, she seemed as if she was the king of the

world.

“Damnit! Why aren’t Harvey and Leslie here

yet?!”

After seeing someone walk in again, Elmer threw a fit of rage, thinking it would be another

subordinate of the Clarke family.

“Don’t they know who we are?!

“We waited for more than ten minutes by now! Who do they think they are?!”

Elmer showed a disdainful expression as if he was the first-in-command of Hong Kong.

“Don’t the people from the Clarke family have rules?!” he coldly exclaimed.

“And that kid! Doesn’t he know his limits?!

“He knew that I was coming, yet he still came here late?!

“Who does he think he is?!

“Tell them to get over here right now!”

Haider was filled with murderous intent.

“Bastards!” exclaimed Haider coldly.

“I’m one of the oldest groups of people in Longmen!

“I come from the Bauer family! Don’t they know what my family represents?!

“I’ll give them five more minutes! If they don’t show up after that, they’ll end up like this table right here!”

Haider then swung his left hand on the coffee table beside him, slamming it to the ground in

pieces.

Obviously, those people were the ones who caused all the damage here.

Harvey walked in front of them while squinting

at Haider.

“That’s fifteen million dollars per chair and three hundred million per coffee table.

“Remember to count the stuff you broke so you

can pay up later.”

“Who gave you permission to speak like that to the head of Longmen’s law enforcement like that, Harvey?!”

Carrie was infuriated after seeing Harvey’s arrival. She scornfully glared at Harvey then.

Even though Haider was only the vice head of Longmen’s law enforcement, Carrie knew how to please senior people like him. Removing the title of vice was enough to get in Haider’s good

graces.

“Do you have a death wish or something?!”

The other young men and women glared at Harvey with murderous intent, as if they were ready to take action at any second.
