Eight o’clock at night, in an office building at the outer ring of Hong Kong.
This place was the Clarke family’s property. The annual rent of this place was already terrifying.
Other than that, there was a hanging garden on top of the building. The garden was evergreen. It was truly an extraordinary sight.
This was the place where the Clarke family put in most of their strength. Because of the temporary meeting, Leslie Clarke was assigned here at the moment.
In that case, Leslie would have the confidence to handle things smoothly if anyone were to try
anything or cause a huge ruckus on the spot.
After Harvey York reached the office building in a van labeled 00001, he calmly looked at his
surroundings.
Even though it was already nighttime, the place was still bustling full of people. Many white collar workers could be seen walking around the
streets.
Harvey squinted for a while.
“This is a really good spot! Truly a good place to earn a fortune!”
“You’re too kind, Sir York. This is just a humble office building. The Clarke family solely rely on this to survive.”
Leslie’s black dress had captivated countless men with just simple gestures from her.
Their faces were bright red, looking as if they wanted to pounce right at her at that moment.
A shame that the people beside her immediately squashed the thoughts of those men.
Leslie respectfully opened the door for Harvey and then spoke welcomingly, “Please come in. I already asked for Carrie Kennedy and the others here. It’s currently eight o’clock in the evening. It’ll be fine if we run a little late. There’s no rush anyway.

“If you’re interested, we can even go shopping around the duty-free shops downstairs.”
Leslie casually wrapped herself around Harvey’s arm like a little girl before heading inside the office building.
The people from the Clarke family were all utterly shocked.

“There’s no need for that. I don’t like shopping anyway,” replied Harvey indifferently.
While heading toward the office building, he asked curiously, “Carrie’s here too? She’s not scared to show up in front of me?”
“Why would she be scared?”

“While you’ve been resting, she’s been doing quite a lot using the Longmen’s name.
“I heard that she even had an audience with Vince York before bringing the vice head of Longmen’s law enforcement into this.
“As for the other things she’s prepared, I’m afraid we’ll just have to wait and see.”
“She met Vince, then brought the vice head into
this?”
Harvey smiled after hearing those words.
“Looks like Young Lord York really wants me
dead here!
“If he finds a chance, he’ll surely use everything he’s got to drive me into a corner!”
Leslie frowned after hearing Harvey’s words.
“Sir York, we’ll be in big trouble if Vince is involved in this matter!
“He’s a meticulous man. He wouldn’t get himself involved if he wasn’t a hundred percent sure that he would succeed.
“You need to be careful.”
“We’re already here. There’s no point being careful right now,” replied Harvey calmly.
“Tell me about this vice head instead.”
“His name is Haider Bauer. He is a well-known figure in the second generation of the Bauer family. Even though he’s nearing his seventies, he has a very outstanding reputation!
“It’s said that he was good friends with some of the old people from the Yorks of Hong Kong.
“On one hand, he came here to reunite with his old friends. On the other hand, he’s representing the Law Enforcement of Longmen to look for
you.”
