“Of course you cheated! I have proof right here!”
Christian flashed Yoana a smug look as he reached under her chest. Yoana was caught off guard, her expression awful, when he suddenly pulled out an ace of spades out of her tube top.
Before she could come to her senses and shove him away, he pulled an ace of hearts.
Following that was an ace of diamonds, and then, an ace of clubs…
Card after card scattered to the ground as Christian pulled them out.
Everyone gasped at the sight.
“What?!”
“She’s actually cheating on St. Hope?!”
“She’s so shameless!”

“No, no..! She’s playing with fire!”
The crowd was shocked. They didn’t think that Yoana would actually cheat!
Yoana, however, narrowed her eyes in silent anger. She never had the cards in the first place. It was Christian who pulled the cards out of nowhere.
Judging from this, it was apparent that not only was Christian quite proficient in gambling, but he was also quick-witted enough to frame Yoana.

After seeing Yoana’s horrible look on her face, Christian clapped joyfully.
“Now what, Lady Mendoza? With the evidence, aren’t you supposed to give me the money back and stay here?”
Yoana laughed, though the sound was devoid of
any humor.
“Are you braindead, Christian?”
“You think you can just slander me with your gambling skills?!”
“Did you forget what I do for a living?!”

“Show the footage if you’re saying that I cheated! We’ll watch the entire thing in full!”
“If there’s proof in the footage, then according to the rules here, I’ll chop my hand!”
“If there’s no proof, that means you’re slandering me! After you gouge your eyes out, I want your hands chopped as well!”
“Do you dare?!”
Yoana then shot a glare at the staff not far away from her.
“As the Las Vegas Police Station’s second-in
command, I order you to show us the surveillance footage!”
The staff was about to move as told, but Christian clapped again. The smile on his face was still there, and he looked unperturbed. n
“I think you’re the one who’s braindead, Lady Mendoza.”
“The second-in-command of Las Vegas Police Station should know that we’re in open seas right now!”
“Your pathetic authority has no use here!”
“I am the law here!”
“If I said that you cheated, then you cheated! I am proof, and this is the evidence!”
“In any case, you have only two choices tonight!”
“Number one, leave the chips and your check,
then break both your arms as punishment!”
“Number two, I’ll pay off Edwin’s debt for you, but you have to accompany me for one night.”
“I’ll record the entire thing to commemorate our hard-won love, though!”
“How does that sound?”
Christian lit up his cigar, and then blew out a huff of smoke in Yoana’s face.
“The choice is yours.”
His plan was simple. He planned to lure Yoana here with Edwin’s IOU from years ago so he could take control of her.
If he succeeded, Las Vegas’s first-in-command would’ve turned into a puppet for the Hamilton family.
