Chapter 2632 An Important Decision
It was just the calm before the storm.
Something was bound to happen sooner or later.
It’s here.
However, everyone knew this was only the beginning.
An even greater wave was coming their way.
Everyone started to set up defenses specifically built to stand up against the Warmachines.
Especially Craig. He resumed the meeting after Gary left.
“As we have seen, it’s a grave situation. Erudia could very easily be affected by all of this. We would have been doomed if the Warmachine had shown up there. Hence, we must not put all our hopes on Gary’s shelter. We must set up defensive lines on the coastline. We won’t be able to build the Steel City Wall as suggested by the Crown King. However, we can set up the coastline with our weapons and firepower. Our fellow fighters can take care of the back. Moreover, we can always count on The Cardinal Hall and Eragon to help us out when the time comes. This is the only way to make it a foolproof plan.” Craig said to the mass.
“Okay, understood! We cannot just sit around and do nothing! We must take action!”
“I don’t believe we cannot take out the Warmachine with our advanced weaponry and technology.”
“Let’s just shower them with bullets! Their doomsday is here!”
“Do you honestly want me to believe that they’re not afraid of anything?”
“We’re so powerful that we don’t even need to defend! Let’s just attack. Attack is the best defense! We won’t even need to build the city wall after destroying all the Warmachines.”
The Dragonites took action after coming to an agreement.
They took out the most powerful weapons and firepower they owned and set it up on the coastline and the borders.
The plan was set into motion.
Weapons were rarely used in this era.
However, things were evolving and technology was advancing.
Weapons were still very much feared upon.
The Dragonites set up their defenses discreetly. Everyone was ordered to keep it confidential.
However, the Lab of Gods and all their training bases were located right in the heart of Erudia.
Hence, they knew everything that had been going on in Erudia.
They were well aware of the Dragonites’ moves even though the Dragonites tried to keep it discreet.
It was hard not to know the Dragonites’ plan since they had eyes everywhere.
Even though they didn’t know the details, they roughly had an idea of what was going on.
“Erudia’s ability to execute their plans exceeded our expectations! The people that we took lightly were actually very strong!”
“Yeah, I’ve always thought we’re up against organizations like The Cardinal Hall.”
“I never knew the Dragonites are so powerful. It will be terrifying once they unleash their full power.” Mr. X and his subordinates exclaimed.
“What a pity we’ve already found out their plan. They can’t threaten us! Moreover, they’ve basically told us everything by carrying out their plan ahead of time like that. We must not let this become an obstacle to Restricted Area 76! We must take them out!” Jester King laughed.
Everything was within the Lab of Gods’ control, and that was what made it so terrifying.
It took the Dragonites only ten days to set up their defenses along the coastline.
Thud! Thud! Thud!
They even set up mechanical beasts that were over a hundred meters high and several large mechas.
Craig refused to believe that his mechanical beasts couldn’t take out the Warmachines.
Moreover, he had enough ammunition to turn the coastal area into lava.
It would be enough to sustain them for hours.
The first day passed.
The second day went by too.
On the fifth day, things in Erudia’s Eastford coast stirred.
“Something’s going on in Eastford coast.”
“We detected a change in wave frequency in the South Coast area.”
Everything quickly turned to chaos in the next moment.
