Harvey smiled.

Harvey was smiling gently, but to Jakai, he looked just like a demon. Jakai had a bad feeling about the situation, but at that moment, he wouldn’t dare stand up.

“You need to believe me, Sir York!” he said, hanging his head low. “I’ve already changed!”

Harvey ignored Jakai, and kicked him in the stomach.

Jakai was fully prepared to dodge, but he was shocked to find out that he couldn’t react quickly enough.

Jakai was enraged and frightened.

“You’re a martial artist too. You of all people should know,” Harvey replied calmly.

Harvey looked calm. He felt that if he didn’t deal with a heinous person like Jakai, he’d let down Quill’s badge.

Everyone could tell that Jakai was furious, but he wouldn’t dare move a single inch since Harvey had the badge.

The crowd was baffled and frightened.

Harvey casually sent the last disciple in front of Jakai flying. Then, he smiled at Jakai.

Jakai’s eyes and mouth twitched. After a while, he finally spoke up.

“Don’t you dare cross the line, you little bastard…”

“Bastard?” Harvey couldn’t be bothered to continue talking. Kneel already, you old bastard!”

The crowd gasped after hearing those words. They didn’t know what to say as they stood before Harvey, frozen stiff.

‘Is this man insane? Or does he have a death wish?

‘A mere geomancy expert and kept man, demanding Jakai to kneel?

‘Is he dreaming?

‘Or could that badge really frighten people and take total control, like in TV?’

Harvey smiled gently, but Jakai glared at him like he was a demon.

Jakai was filled with rage.

Rules meant nothing to him. He’d be able to take out Quill and Azrael with ease…

And even with the so-called leader’s badge, he could kill Harvey with ease if he wanted to!

Chiba gritted his teeth, looking wretched.

“What’s with the badge, Harvey?

“Do you think we still live in ancient times?

“Did you watch too much TV?

“You must be stupid!

Who would believe in such a thing anymore?

The women laughed coldly at their common enemy. They were completely uneducated and only watched a lot of TV, so they were convinced Harvey was just bluffing at this point.

Compared to when they had Harvey completely surrounded before, they seemed a lot more wretched right now.

The remaining disciples wanted to back off, when Harvey spoke up.

“Did I say you can move?”

They froze instantly; they wanted to lash out, but they dared not move a single inch despite the rage on their faces.

“Oh! It is pretty useful, after all!

“You! Put your face here. Hurry.”

Harvey pointed at a disciple, hooking his finger. The disciple gritted his teeth before doing exactly what Harvey ordered.

Slap!

Harvey sent the disciple flying, then shook his hand.

“Did I say that you can grit your teeth?

“You, and you. No need to grit your teeth.

Relax…”.

Slap, slap!

The two disciples put their faces forward, and Harvey sent them flying. Blood gushed out of their mouths as they smashed into the ground. It was a horrible sight.

“What’s the matter, Grandfather? It’s just a badge! It probably belongs to some random eunuch! What are you scared of?” Chiba snarled.

Jakai’s expression seemed a little off.

Chiba knew his grandfather well. Feeling a little annoyed, he couldn’t help but speak up.

Jakai ignored Chiba completely. He took a step forward, glaring fiercely at Harvey.

“Talk!” he exclaimed. “Where did you get this relic? Do you have the right to wield it?”

“Relic?”

Harvey tossed the badge in his hand, looking calm.

“So you know what this is.

“That means it’s important to the Heaven’s Gate.”

“No kidding! Where did you get it?” Jakai demanded, his expression horrible. “You’re dead if you don’t talk right now!”

“I went to the Gibson family’s house a few days ago. I helped them find a way to regulate energy with their martial arts, solving the curse of them dying as soon as they hit sixty.”

“Quill and I became sworn brothers, and he gave me this as a meeting gift.”

Harvey smiled gently.

“He said that I’ve made a major contribution to the Heaven’s Gate, and that I’d be on par with the head as long as I have this.

“I wonder if that’s true or not…”

Jakai’s face turned awful. He was reminded that the Gibson family was one of the biggest families in Heaven’s Gate, so it was normal for them to have the badge since their ancestors had been in the position once.

“Are you really going to be this unreasonable?
