Matsuda took a deep breath, then walked toward Julian. He held his breath and stared down at Julian. He didn’t hold back.

He quietly waited to cut down Julian, so he could reclaim his lost honor.

Julian looked listless and bored, as if the entire situation had nothing to do with him.

The hostess stepped up, worried. After seeing Matsuda nod, she exclaimed, “Begin!”

“Die!” Matsuda screamed in fury.

The blade in his hand turned to lightning, charging right ahead without pause. The sound of a crashing wave and a beast’s roar was heard.

It felt as if his blade had engulfed the whole ring.

Ripples were even forming in people’s wine. It was enough to show just how terrifying of an attack it was.

The beautiful hostesses were going limp in fear; their faces had completely lost all color. It was their first time seeing such an impressive being, after all!

That said, Julian remained calm as he faced the attack.

Everything he experienced in Hong Kong and Las Vegas had turned him fearless.

He narrowed his eyes when he saw the blade right in front of his eyes.

Slap!

Right when everyone thought that Julian was about to be split in half, he took a step forward and swung the back of his palm on Matsuda’s face.

Matsuda’s body trembled, and he was sent flying. He crashed right on the edge of the ring soon after. A bright red palm print could be seen on his face. It was truly a miserable sight.

Matsuda looked at his long sword in disbelief. He didn’t understand how he ended up like this despite his strength.

This was just humiliating!

He was an Islander, yet he lost against a man from Country H!

It would be less shocking if he lost against a killer move…

But he was struck down with a single slap to his face! This was unbelievable!

The air tensed up immediately; everyone looked at each other, completely stunned. Not a single sound could be heard in the entire place.

Blaine narrowed his eyes. The women beside him were in so much disbelief, their pupils shrunk.

Nameless immediately shattered his glass with his grip; wine was dripping down from his hand, but he didn’t even notice.

Kairi and the others smiled. They already knew that Harvey wouldn’t do anything unless he was confident about winning.

More importantly, Matsuda lost once again. Even after all the preparation and strength, he still managed to lose.

This was utter defeat!

“How dare you, Julian?” Harvey exclaimed furiously. “How dare you sneak up on Matsuda again?! This doesn’t count! Go again! Go again!”

Julian chuckled, and hooked his finger in front of Matsuda.

Matsuda gritted his teeth. He pounced forward, flying right into Julian’s palm once again.

Slap!

The other side of his face turned swollen, and he was sent flying again.

“That doesn’t count!” Harvey yelled.

“You need to stop sneaking up on Matsuda!

“Fight back when he swings his sword right at you! You understand me?”

Slap!

Another slap was heard.

The crowd’s eyes were twitching; Brodie was on the verge of coughing out blood as he watched.

Brodie was filled with righteousness.

Those who didn’t know any better screamed in unison, demanding a rematch.

Julian ignored Brodie and glanced curiously at Matsuda, as if he was ready to take action.

“I’m talking to you, you bastard! Do you understand me?

“Let Matsuda go right now!

“If you don’t, if Matsuda even gets a scratch, we have the right to disqualify Golden Sands!”

Nameless spoke up after seeing Brodie fearlessly standing up for him.

“Elder Brodie! I think people who disobey the rules should just be killed immediately!

“The fight just now obviously didn’t count!

“If there aren’t enough enforcers here, I have plenty to spare!”

Nameless clapped, and a few men in suits and firearms walked out with threatening grins.

Seeing them being so shameless, Harvey decided to trample on them completely.

“I told you already, Julian.

“You should be quick and ruthless with your attacks! Show your opponents your power!

“Don’t give them a chance to make excuses!

“Come! Give them another chance! Do another round!”

Julian chuckled, then threw the blade in his hand away.”

Use your hand instead!” Harvey said.

Julian smiled before he copied Harvey, wiping his hand with some tissue.

Brodie chuckled coldly after seeing Harvey and Julian show off after immediately giving up.

He had seen pictures of the two; he recognized the man who Jakai killed, too.

Now that he had a chance to crush Harvey, he wouldn’t let the opportunity go.

Killing Harvey wasn’t important, but torturing his heart was.

Brodie wanted to give Harvey hope, then crush him. That way, Harvey would be more miserable than ever.

Kairi and the others looked at each other after hearing Harvey’s words, but they didn’t stop him from doing anything.

Julian belonged to him, after all; he had all the right to decide what would happen next.

Nameless chuckled coldly before throwing a long sword into the ring.

“This is my long sword, Snowfall!

“You’ve been wanting this, haven’t you?

“It’s yours now.

“Give it your all! Crush your enemy!

“Don’t give them another chance!

“Don’t let the others think that you’re inferior!”

Arlet and the others couldn’t hold back from insulting Nameless after seeing what he had done.

After all, he implied that he got Matsuda to go easy on Golden Sands.

Matsuda nodded, then slowly pulled out the Snowfall blade.

The hostesses cheered in joy. Compared to the rascally- looking rich playboy, Matsuda was their Prince Charming.

They couldn’t be bothered to look at Harvey, who seemed completely ordinary. A country bumpkin had no right to be involved in the elite circle, anyway.

Everyone was in shock; they looked as if they had forgotten how to breathe.

Harvey was the only one who was calm.

Nameless, Blaine, Kairi, and many others were completely stunned to see what was happening.

A few beautiful hostesses slapped themselves furiously in the face to make sure that they weren’t hallucinating.

Nonetheless, it still felt like an illusion.

Even Brodie, the so-called fair judge, was baffled. He couldn’t believe his eyes.

Who was Matsuda?! He was the successor of the Six Schools of Martial Arts and the Abito Way! He was one of the top ten most outstanding people of his country’s younger generation!

He could overwhelm anyone with his strength alone. He could take out entire crowds if he really wanted to!

And yet, a pompous playboy took him out with great ease.

It was way beyond anyone’s expectations !

Blaine pulled out his phone, planning to get someone to look into Julian. The tables were about to be turned. He wouldn’t allow that at any cost!

He then looked at Harvey.

Darwin laughed coldly, pissed. “Those bastards are definitely together. If that doesn’t count as an actual fight, then what does?”

Arlet scoffed. “That’s right! Can someone actually launch a sneak attack on Matsuda just now?”

Kairi gave Harvey a look, signaling him to not waste his efforts.

However, Harvey glanced calmly at Blaine.

Matsuda took a step forward before, and swung his sword right at Julian.

In a flash, the blade broke apart. It fell right between Julian’s fingers. Julian grabbed it, and held it in front of Matsuda’s throat.

Seeing this, the crowd fell silent.

The six Hermit Families weren’t able to do as they pleased, since the Braff family was involved with the government.

And because of Heaven’s Gate, the Gibson family were of the same circumstance.

It fell on Azrael, Golden Sands’s king of the underworld, to stand on the front lines in fighting Faceless Group and Evermore’s invasion.

However, Kairi and the others requested him to stay behind. It wasn’t that Azrael was weak; if anything happened to him, they would all be done for.

“I understand the situation we’re in, everyone,” Azrael said.

“But right now, I have a chance to stop Faceless and Evermore’s return. I can fight for our future!

“If I don’t do anything, Faceless will win.

He’ll have a reason to come back.

“If that happens, we’ll be in dire straits.”

“I’ll handle it, then,” Kairi said, sighing.

Her skills with poison were impressive. So much so, that everyone avoided her like the plague. If she used them, she would be criticized.

Even so, it was much better than sending Azrael to the ring.

Someone showed up, and pushed Kairi back to the couch.

Everyone froze; many prominent figures instinctively looked over. They were ready to see Azrael or Kairi perform, but…

‘What kind of ignorant person decided to stand up under these circumstances?

‘What a show-off! Who could be so calm in a situation like this?”

Those in the VIP seats revealed their disdain.

A random woman locked eyes with Harvey, frowning. She was certain Harvey was just showing off.

Kairi flung her leg before hopping out of the couch.

Then, she glared at Dragon, still wailing in pain, before telling the bodyguards to send him to the hospital.

“Your father wouldn’t even dare act so high and mighty during his time in Golden Sands, kid! You won’t even know how you died if you keep this up!”

“Is that a threat?

Nameless showed his bright teeth.

“Excuse me, Ms. Patel, but my entire life revolves around threats!”

Dragon Nine instantly fell to the ground. His entire right arm was severed, with blood splattering everywhere.

His other hand held his wound while he gritted his teeth in pain.

He raised his head to look at Matsuda Taiha, trying to say something when the immense pain stopped him.

Gasps were heard everywhere.

On the one hand, they were surprised by how strong Matsuda actually was. On the other hand, they were showing pity toward Dragon.

Not only did Dragon lose the city’s trust because of this loss, he would have to live being a cripple for the rest of his life in fear of being killed by his enemies.

Matsuda did not show any respect toward Kairi Patel and the others as he walked toward Dragon before giving him a swift kick.

His body was sent flying before smashing right onto the marble table in front of Kairi and the others.

The table shattered into pieces, making a huge mess. Dragon was barely breathing after coughing up a mouthful of blood.

Everyone turned dead silent after seeing the sight.

They were all showing odd expressions.

Nobody thought that Matsuda would be this domineering after winning so easily.

This was enough to show just how big of a difference the circles between the Island Nations and the Golden Sands were.

After a brief moment of silence, cheers could be heard all over the place.

Some hostesses were even calling Matsuda’s name. They would not even show such enthusiasm when seeing their parents.

Kairi and the others were not completely stunned, but they started having migraines when they squinted at Dragon lying right before them.

Dragon coldly chuckled before he started moving again. He pounced with both fists forward, carrying immense force.

Matsuda was not fazed. He stepped forward to dodge Dragon’s seemingly deadly attack.

Dragon felt his dignity trampled on.

“Die!” he exclaimed before going all out.

His speed was as quick as lightning. He jumped into the air, planning to take out Matsuda in one blow.

Nobody thought that he would even do something this ruthless!

If Matsuda were hit, he would be heavily injured even if he did not die from it!

“That’s his killer move!

“The Demon Crash!” someone exclaimed.

“It’s said that anyone hit by the move will never survive the impact!
