Amora swayed in shock. Her face had completely lost color.

The maids around were shivering in fear; they didn’t dare take a step forward.

Amora quickly ran forward, and pushed Brayan by the shoulders.

She was an expert martial artist as well, and quickly dodged every single attack that came her way before suppressing Brayan.

“Ghosts! I saw ghosts!

“They wouldn’t let me go in my dreams!

“They wouldn’t let me go at night!

“They wouldn’t let me go even in the day!”

Brayan’s face was bloodless, and his entire body was drenched in sweat. He glared angrily at certain parts of the room, as if there were ghosts there.

“What happened to my father? Tell me!” Amora demanded, looking around her. “Get over here right now, Housekeeper!”

The housekeeper stumbled out and said, “Milady, Mr. Brayan couldn’t sleep for the past three days…

“He finally dozed off in the morning, but he was woken up by a nightmare five minutes later.

“He started screaming about ghosts after that.

“We couldn’t do anything about it!”

Amora’s face went pale once more. She held her father’s hand.

“Where’s Mr. Davis? Get him here now! Hurry!

“Give him as much gold as he wants!

“The amount doesn’t matter, as long as he can save my father!”

“Mr. Davis is here, milady,” the assistant replied.

Hearing that, Amora was filled with joy. “Quick!

“Are you pretending to be an idiot or something?

“He came here to force my hand.

Harvey was curious about Brodie, who glared at him like a cobra waiting to strike.
