Vaughn smiled.

Nameless had strong men working for him; not to mention; a mysterious onmyoji from the Island Nations and India’s God of War were supporting him.

Kensley took a sip of her drink, then spoke up.

“You’re a lady, Maisie. Can you stop yapping for a second here?

“What’s the point of talking about that loser in a place like this?”

Kensley was wearing a Chanel pleated skirt, Balenciaga stockings, and Jimmy Choo high heels.

The ensemble gave her a class image, and she radiated sensual allure.

Compared to the others, who were only here to watch the show, Kensley’s goal was to have Blaine for herself.

She wasn’t sure if she was jealous or worried, but she figured that Harvey was probably talking to Kairi about what happened the same night.

If she went out to question Harvey at this moment, she’d only make them drift further away.

She quickly turned off the screen, and flopped right on her Simmons’ mattress.

She covered her burning face; filled with every single emotion mixed into one.

While Mandy was flustered about her relationship with Harvey…

Many miles away, inside a private clubhouse beside Rio River.

This was about a five thousand square feet room, located among the tallest buildings within Golden Sands.

Looking down from the massive glass windows, the colorful lights of the city could be seen glimmering everywhere. One glance at them gave one a sense of control.

Many were leaning on the couches around the place.

They were all raising their glasses, occasionally clanking them together while chatting idly.

From the international state and political climates of certain places, to regional wars and the economic situations…

The princes and young masters had genuine knowledge of the world in general. They’d all probably become well-known politicians and economists in the future.

That said, they were only guests at this very moment. Even after getting praise from the wealthy ladies, they were still just that.

He had already used his killer move to buy him time, but he didn’t think Harvey could deal with it so effortlessly.

The mysterious Yin-Yang Technique of the Island Nations meant nothing to Harvey!

Despair crept up in Soraru’s mind.

Harvey had terrified him, and he wasn’t confident in the Yin- Yang Technique at all…

Many onmyojis in robes crawled out of the corners. Papers with smiling and crying expressions drawn on were stuck on their faces. The papers would sway every so often, revealing the pale faces underneath. It was a peculiar sight.

A timid person would’ve been scared witless and lost all strength to fight back.

Harvey narrowed his eyes.

“The Spirit Bind?

“Interesting. Come at me together, then.”

The Spirit Bind was one of the onmyoji’s moves.

Shikigamis were bound to people on the verge of death. The people would retain their memories and fighting skills, while having their power constantly amplified.

This was one of the forbidden techniques for the onmyojis.

Harvey didn’t think he’d see such a thing here.

Soraru narrowed his eyes, and smiled faintly.

“What a knowledgeable man you are! You should know that people who know too much die a lot faster.

“I didn’t have a reason to kill you before, but for the sake of my safety, I’ll have to do just that!”

“Is that so?” Harvey smiled. “Are you sure someone like you can put a scratch on me?”

Soraru froze, looking confused.

Indeed, Harvey seemed a little too calm at this moment. He acted as if he was going against some stupid martial arts instead of a forbidden technique.

Aura seeped out of Harvey’s body.

The Spirit Corpses instantly fell to the ground, and the paper on their faces combusted as soon as they were engulfed by Harvey’s aura.

The corpses started making inhuman screams, as something was pressuring them.

Harvey held Mandy’s slim waist after dealing with the enemies.

Mandy had become limp after hearing the gunshot going off beside her ear.

“Get out of here, Harvey!” she exclaimed after seeing Harvey’s face.

“These people are up to no good! You won’t get another chance if you don’t get out!

“They’re using a Shikigami!”

“Right. Let’s get out of here.”

At that moment, pillars of black light shone all around.

There were eight pillars in total. Every single one was filled with endless murderous intent.

Harvey could see the blood on the ground converging toward the shrine; he could sense the malice radiating off them.

Soraru, who had been muttering constantly, finally stood up.

All of a sudden, he put on a white hat. He turned around to look at Harvey with narrowed eyes, smiling.

“Hello, Sir York, Prince York, Representative York…”

Soraru spoke politely, reciting Harvey’s identities. He naturally knew who Harvey was. He was aware of every single identity Harvey wanted the public to know.

This was enough to prove that the Islanders weren’t holding back anymore.

Harvey sighed, then put Mandy on the ground and covered her with his jacket.

“You’re from the Tsuchimikado Family?” Harvey calmly asked after turning to see the eerie-looking onmyoji.

“You’re coming at me with the Yin-Yang Technique?

“Are you using curses? Seances? Or Shikigamis?”

Soraru smiled.

“As expected from Sir York to be this experienced. No ordinary man can match the prince who held up the entire world on his own! The strength and confidence of the director of the world’s Marital Arts Alliance is simply unparalleled!

“I’m excited; if you die by my hand, I wonder if my position as the head of the family will be solidified.”

Harvey thought about the situation for a moment.

“Aren’t you Master Abe, the Island Nation’s best onmyoji?”

“No. That’s the man that we onmyojis are the proudest of.

“If I was him, I wouldn’t have to waste so much time today!”

Soraru chuckled.

“Let me introduce myself. My name is Soraru Seimei. I am the direct descendant of the Seimei family, as well as the Shindan Way’s support.

“Today, I’m also the one in charge to send you your way!

“It’s a lonely road to purgatory, Sir York, but at least you’ll be joined by your wife. This I can make sure of.

“Well, then!”

The paper on Soraru’s hand started burning. When he squeezed the paper, the entire space around them seemed slightly warped.

She rolled her eyes before speaking again.

“I changed my mind!

“Other than Nameless, you have to break your own arms as well!

“How about this? I’ll let your wife go after you do that!

“And when you bring Nameless here, I’ll let you two leave!

“I swear with our Bushido Spirit! How does that sound?”

Sakura showed a righteous look, as if she was going to take out Mandy if Harvey tried anything funny.

“No! Don’t!

“These people are backstabbers!” Mandy yelled, despite her muffled words.

She didn’t want Harvey to get in trouble because of her.

Harvey looked at his left hand, and clenched it with his right.

“Sure. But you should at least show something in return, right?”

Sakura smiled smugly.

“Fine! I’ll give you some respect!”

She moved her firearm away from Mandy’s head.

Swoosh!

At that moment, Harvey swung his hand. Needles scattered out, landing right on Sakura’s arm.

Bang!

Sakura lost focus; as soon as her firearm moved ever-so- slightly, she pulled the trigger right at the ceiling. The bullet grazed right past Mandy’s ear.

‘No!’

Sakura soon came to her senses. She was about to continue threatening Harvey, but he had already kicked a long sword on the ground forward.

Whoosh!

The long sword pierced right through Sakura’s heart. She was sent flying, and ended up nailed to the statue.

Sakura was filled with despair; she wanted to struggle, but she couldn’t even make any noise. Her life was slowly draining away.

She thought she had prepared a lot to deal with Harvey…

Yet, she didn’t expect to be taken out that easily!

Resentment took over her completely. She couldn’t utter a single word; after twitching for a few times, her body couldn’t move anymore.

Harvey casually slapped the remainder of the Shindan Way to the ground before getting to Mandy.

Harvey casually slapped another expert who was holding a long sword to the ground. He then wiped his fingers with some tissues before glancing calmly at Sakura.

“Your lame martial arts won’t do anything to me.

“Let go of her, then break your hands. I’ll let you go if you do.

“If not, then die.”

After hearing those words and seeing that calm look on Harvey’s face, the Shindan Way experts felt as if they had returned to Mordu again.

Back then, they were just as furious and helpless when they fought Harvey. They had no other choice aside from fleeing the city.

The experts were filled with nothing but despair. They didn’t even think to fight back.

Sakura looked like a gambler who had been losing the entire time. She quickly pulled out an exquisite- looking firearm, and took the safety off before pointing it at Mandy’s head.

Laughing coldly, she said, “I’ve been underestimating you, Harvey! You’re completely alone in enemy territory, yet you still have no fear! You’ve got guts!”

Harvey looked at Sakura calmly.

“That has nothing to do with you. You have no right to do anything to my family. Since you broke the rules, you’ll have to pay the price.

“Let me tell you something else. I’ve already crippled Nameless completely. If you let Mandy go, at most, I’ll do the same to you.

“But if she loses even a single strand of hair, I’ll end your life immediately.”

Harvey’s face was ice. He was deeply worried about Mandy, but he couldn’t show it. Showing weakness would only make his enemies take advantage of her.

Harvey clapped and snapped the man’s sword in half, and sent it straight at his throat.

Blood splattered all over the place, but Harvey didn’t care about that at all. He quickly grabbed a knife from the man and flung it forward.

Two experts wielding Rainstorm Needles didn’t have time to react; they fell paralyzed to the ground, clutching their throats.

The Rainstorm Needles landed right into Harvey’s hands, and he used them without hesitation.

Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh!

The sounds of needles flying all over the place filled the air; many Islanders fell to the ground, defeated and resentful.

At this point, Sakura had already dragged Mandy into the shrine.

Harvey followed behind slowly. As soon as he entered the shrine, he kicked down eight onmyojis who tried to ambush him.

The view around the shrine was clear.

In the heart of the place, a statue with a muddy face was seen. The altar of the statue had a mirror which was tinted green and glimmering faintly.

Soraru was kneeling in front of the statue, while chanting something quietly. He minded his own business, as if the killing around the place meant nothing to him.

On the other side of the shrine, Sakura was grabbing Mandy’s hair.

When she saw Harvey kill almost a hundred men before coming inside, her expression turned horrible. She narrowed her eyes, then hurriedly made a gesture.

“Go! All of you!”

Many Shindan Way experts charged forward with blades in hand, gritting their teeth.

Slap, slap, slap!

Before they could get any closer to Harvey, they were all sent flying with slaps on the faces. With just a simple movement, they crashed into the corners. They struggled to get back up, but to no avail.

Some lay completely still on the ground, paralyzed. Nobody knew if they were actually alive or dead.

“You bastard!”

Sakura’s face was an ugly expression. She knew Harvey was strong, but he exceeded her expectations.

She turned around to slap Mandy in the face, trying to wake the latter up so she could use Mandy against Harvey.

Soraru revealed a piece of black and white paper, ready to take action at any moment.

Mandy slowly regained consciousness. When she finally came to and saw the chaos in front of her, she couldn’t help but scream, “No need to care about me, Harvey! I don’t…”

Sakura slapped Mandy furiously in the face; she woke Mandy up so she could beg for her life, not to agitate Harvey even more!

Soraru looked at Harvey curiously.

In his eyes, Harvey was just a reckless fool, no matter how impressive the man actually was.

He was sure that if he wanted to kill Harvey with his school’s Yin-Yang Technique, it wouldn’t be hard.

That said, Harvey didn’t deserve to see him in action.

Soraru chuckled disdainfully, and crossed his arms to watch the show.

“Those who kill him will become the grandmaster’s closed disciple, be granted the title of king, and rewarded with 1.3 billion dollars!

“Now go!”

The fearful experts’ eyes turned bloodshot when they heard Sakura’s words. They had been fighting their entire lives, waiting for such a glorious opportunity. Naturally, they were exhilarated after hearing such a thing.

They quickly whipped out their firearms and crossbows, and pulled the trigger in the direction of Harvey’s car.

Harvey stepped on the gas pedal, and quickly spun the steering wheel.

The back of the car drifted in a violent arc.

Immediately, six experts were sent flying, screaming in pain.

Harvey slapped the windshield, and the glass shards scattered everywhere. A dozen experts wielding crossbows fell to the ground, paralyzed.

Seeing that, everyone who had been riled up by the rewards froze. The air tensed up quickly.
