Harvey smiled, and took his phone out.

“Why don’t you have a listen here?”

Inspector Braff took a deep breath before stepping forward and slapping the phone out of Harvey’s hand.

“I don’t care who you are, nor do I care who you have supporting you!

“But I’ll arrest the king himself if I have to!

“Nobody gets to trample on the country’s dignity!

“There’s still time if you come with me right now! If not, you’d have to stay behind bars for at least a decade, with all the obstruction you’ve been doing!”

Mandy’s expression changed; she was about to pull on Harvey’s hand. The higher-ups looked gloomy, worried that things would escalate.

‘It’s all that live-in son-in-law’s fault! Why can’t he just think before he acts?

‘Not only did he get into the situation himself, but he even dragged CEO Zimmer into it too!’

He didn’t think Harvey would dare break his hand in front of the inspectors.

But soon after, he broke into a wretched smile.

Inspector Braff froze, then exploded in anger.

“How dare you challenge the law, you bastard? Do you want to die?!”

At this moment, a dignified voice echoed from behind.

“Step down, Carmelo. Don’t you know that Sir York is the family’s savior?”

The crowd split in half, revealing an inspector with a white shirt who was crossing his arms. He was none other than Golden Sands Police Station’s first-in-command, Soren Braff.

Everyone gasped when they saw a prominent figure who had been showing up on TV appear.

Mandy’s expression changed after hearing those words.

“Inspector Braff! I can prove what Harvey said was true!

Mandy’s face was bright red, but she still explained the situation for Harvey’s sake.

Inspector Braff froze, then sighed again.

The other inspectors instantly pulled out their firearms.

Some even took off their safeties, looking nervous. They were afraid of Harvey getting angry and resorting to harming others or taking people hostage.

The man and his family members smirked coldly, as if they had already won.

Harvey narrowed his eyes, then smiled faintly.

“Don’t worry, Inspector Braff. I’m good friends with Director Braff. Even if I’m guilty of a crime, I won’t resist arrest. Why don’t you call Director Braff before doing anything?”

“Equipment from a decade ago. Judging from the wear, you must’ve cuffed almost a thousand people at this point….”

A few inspectors chuckled coldly.

“So you do know how impressive Inspector Braff is!

“He’s always been the embodiment of righteousness! He’d never let a criminal like you run wild!

The oblivious crowd started cheering after hearing those words.

The inspectors were infuriated to hear those words, prepared to beat the living hell out of Harvey. Naturally, what he said had completely crossed their bottom line.

Inspector Braff’s expression worsened, and he sized up Harvey.

“The man’s dad is dead. You broke his hand, too. And yet, you’re calling me unfit? Are you teaching me how to do things?”

“I wouldn’t dare,” Harvey replied.

“That said, a proper inspector wouldn’t just arrest someone after hearing one side’s statement.
