At midnight.

Harvey and the rest of the Zimmers arrived at the funeral parlor.

The police left as soon as they got there.

Harvey stopped one of the leaving cars to ask about the situation.

According to the autopsy, Aung fell into a ditch and drowned after getting drunk. For an expert like him, dying in such a way was plain embarrassing.

But for the police, the case was over since the mystery was solved.

Harvey gave his thanks before heading into the parlor with the others.

The usually quiet place was filled with noise. Those who didn’t know would assume that the entire place was a night market.

Harvey and the others arrived at the morgue, and discovered that there were a lot of people inside. Aside from the higher – ups, Reuben and Elodie were there as well.

Reuben was holding a string of beads, his expression horrible. No matter what, Aung had been with him for the longest time and was his most trusted subordinate, after all.

It was only natural for Reuben to get angry after Aung died so suddenly.

His strength had greatly decreased, since Aung was such a powerful fighter for him. It’d be odd if he wasn’t sad.

Elodie stared at the cold coffin with a miserable look. Even so, it was quite obvious that she was just pretending.

Harvey glanced at the crowd calmly, then looked at Aung’s corpse.

Aung’s face was completely swollen, but his expression was filled with rage. The stench of alcohol wafted all the way from his body. It seemed like the police were right about their deduction.

“How…? How did he die so suddenly…?” Reuben slowly put his beads in Aung’s hand.

“You’re still so young!”

“Don’t be sad, Elder Reuben! Master Aung wouldn’t want to see you like this, either!” Elodie cried.

She went to lift Reuben up.

“I’m so sorry for this…

“I know for a fact that this isn’t an accident!

“Someone must’ve gotten Master Aung killed!

“You need to find the true culprit and bring Aung justice!

“Not only did Adie for this, but you’re being completely disrespected as well!”

Elodie showed a determined expression.

“You can’t give up now!

“We want the truth!

“We’ll avenge Master Aung!

“I’m to blame for this!

“I’ll make sure that he’s avenged, even if I do lose the position!

Elodie then glanced at Mandy and the others with a vengeful gaze.

“Goddammit! Where’s Simon and his family?” Reuben chuckled coldly. “Tell them to get over here right now!”

Reuben turned into a wild beast at this very moment; his aura was fierce yet horrifying.

Xynthia, frightened by Reuben’s aura, ran right into Harvey’s arms. Mandy’s eyes twitched, but she said nothing.

Harvey caressed Xynthia, and looked ahead with a calm expression.

Mandy glared at Xynthia. “Kids have no say here! Enough nonsense!”

“You choose-do you want to sleep on the floor in my room, or do you want to sleep in Xynthia’s room instead?” she asked, looking at Harvey.

Harvey sighed.

“I’m used to sleeping on the floor anyway. I’ll come with you then.”

Harvey followed Mandy into her room, while Xynthia glared gloomily after them.

The bedroom was on a separate floor. With the dim light, the room seemed quite romantic.

Mandy stumbled while she was changing into her slippers. Harvey quickly held her up. As soon as he did, he could feel her warmth.

Mandy froze, and her breathing grew rapid.

Harvey felt his breath starting to heat up as well. He wasn’t sure if it was getting too romantic, or he was just shy.

Mandy’s beautiful face had become slightly redder as well.

Harvey lifted her up, and took a deep breath before taking a few steps back.

“We haven’t gotten our certificate yet,” he said with a faint smile. “It’d be bad if we stayed in the same room…”

Mandy glared at Harvey, her eyes gloomy and aggressive.

She knew that if she wanted to capture Harvey’s heart so that they could go back to normal, the best way was to make something happen.

Without a second thought, Mandy gathered her courage. She closed her eyes, waiting for something to happen. However, her phone suddenly vibrated as soon as Harvey got closer.

Mandy didn’t want to answer the call, but the phone wouldn’t stop vibrating.

Helpless, she glanced at the phone, and finally picked it up. The moment she took the call, her face instantly lost color.

“What?! Master Aung’s dead?!” she exclaimed, her voice cracking.

Harvey frowned; he could tell that this was a scheme. His gaze instinctively shifted towards the John family’s house.

He had no proof, but his instincts told him that this was Blaine’s doing.

Meanwhile, in the Johns’ residence…

Blaine was studying at a picture in his hand. Aung was dead in a ditch, his expression lacced with disbelief and fear.

After a long while, Blaine threw the picture into the furnace. Sparks flew in the air, accompanied by a burning smell.

Kensley approached, and served Blaine a cup of tea. She was frowning.

“I don’t get it, Young Master John. Why does it matter whether Aung dies or not? His existence doesn’t really affect the bigger picture, does it?” she asked.

“He might not, but this could give us an opportunity,” Blaine said. “Right. If I remember correctly, Darby’s probably out by now, isn’t he?”

Kensley looked at her phone for a moment. “Darby got bailed out ten minutes ago.”

“Send him word through our sources. Let him know that Harvey and Mandy will show up at the Golden Parlor,” Blaine commanded.

Aung didn’t think he’d be crippled by a single slap.

Everyone else looked bewildered.

They could clearly tell that Aung was already planning to kill Harvey…

Yet, what happened?

Harvey sent him flying again with a simple slap. Judging from Aung’s state, he wouldn’t be able to stand again.

‘Is he crippled?

While the family was still in shock, Xynthia snapped to her senses. She couldn’t resist jumping right into Harvey’s arms, smiling warmly.

Harvey’s chest felt warm; he wanted to push Xynthia away, but he couldn’t do that at all.

Mandy’s heart stung when she saw this. She quickly stepped forward to break the two apart.

“Alright, knock it off! You’re an adult! Why are you still clinging onto Harvey like a child?”

Xynthia giggled. “Harvey’s awesome! He deserves a reward, after all!”

Mandy’s face was frosty. “Just let go already! You’re a huge star now! If you don’t, we’ll see how you explain this when the paparazzi find out!”

Xynthia reluctantly let go after hearing those words.

Lilian looked at them, confused, then forced herself to smile.

“What a great son-in-law! You saved us tonight! If it wasn’t for you, the entire family would’ve been dead by now!” she said.

Harvey glanced calmly at her. “Don’t mention it. Mandy will be fine with me here. I’ll head back now.”

Harvey was planning to work on some things. After all, Reuben wouldn’t just give up after suffering such a huge setback.

“Sigh! My dear son-in-law!

“What are you saying?!

“You can’t just leave like this!

“That isn’t how you should be treating your guests!”

Lilian held Harvey’s arm with a fawning expression.

“No need. I can get a mattress for him in my room,” Mandy replied decisively.

Aung stumbled back, his face completely swollen after taking every single slap to the point where black eyes were blatantly showing.

Aung was miserable; he wanted to dodge and fight back, but…

After seeing such relentless attacks, the entire family was truly afraid of Harvey killing someone. If that actually happened, they would be finished.

Everyone was annoyed by Aung’s arrogance, but they didn’t want anyone to die at such a crucial moment.

They would need to give a proper explanation for Reuben, and probably go to court. It’d be extremely troublesome, to say the least.

Harvey decided to go easy after hearing Mandy’s words. He slapped Aung right out of the door before, then wiped his fingers.

The higher-ups’ eyes, and they stumbled out of the place as well.

“You want to die, you bastard?!”

Aung was completely infuriated . He crawled off the ground, screaming furiously before pouncing straight ahead.

He used all his might to throw his fist forward.

Aung attacked with all of his rage. He gathered all of his power just so he could kill his target in a single blow!

Mandy and the others were completely shocked by Aung’s actions.

“Harvey, look out!” they exclaimed instinctively.

Harvey calmly looked at Aung, then casually swung his palm forward again.

A loud slap was heard.

A horrifying aura seeped right into Aung’s body. His entire body started popping like popcorn.

He screamed in pain, sent flying; blood seeped out of his mouth, and he slammed into the ground. His face was pale.

He wanted to stand, but he couldn’t even muster the strength to do that.

As soon as he crawled up, he felt the aura in him crumble instantly.

The higher-ups were filled with rage. They crawled up with their faces covered.

“Master Aung is an expert, Harvey!” Lilian yelled, unable to hold herself back. “Stop showing off in front of him! Kneel! Stop causing trouble! Don’t drag the entire family with you!”

It was clear Lilian didn’t care for Harvey at all. She was just afraid of Harvey agitating Aung, and that would make things worse for the entire family.

The higher-ups became more arrogant after seeing Lilian giving in. They laughed coldly, looking at Harvey as if he was already done for.

“You’re finished for going against us, you damn live-in son-in- law!

“We’ll break whichever arm you used to slap us!

“You’re nothing in front of Master Aung!”

Aung’s pride shot through the roof when he heard that. He took a step forward, and glared coldly at Harvey.

“I can give you a chance. Break your arm, and step aside. If not, I’ll take action and break all four of your limbs,” he said.

“I’ll give you one chance, too. Kneel, admit to your own faults, then break your arms. I’ll let you go after that,” Harvey said.

“Is that so?”

Aung chuckled, enraged.

“Am I giving you too much respect?

“Are you still pretending even now? You just won’t give up till you die, will you?!”

The higher-ups crossed their arms, glaring at Harvey. They were waiting for Aung to beat him up and kick him on the ground.

Aung stepped forward; holy light seemed to envelop him.

“I’ll show you what the Iron Demon looks like…”

The higher-ups cheered in excitement, waiting to see the legend take action.

But before Aung could do anything, Harvey stepped up and swung the back of his palm forward. The fierce-looking monk rolled along the ground and smashed right into a marble vase in the garden.

“Come on! Tell me when’s a good time to give up!”

Harvey crossed his arms, and stepped inside the garden.

Aung stumbled off the ground, spitting out blood.

“You dare hit me, you little bastard?!” he snarled, his expression twisted. He charged at Harvey. “Do you even know the consequences of your actions?”

Harvey swung the back of his palm forward once more.

“Of course not. Enlighten me.”

“Do you think you’re an actual monk just because you’re bald?”
