Chapter 798 Sabrina Gulliver
“I heard it from Mrs. Sawyer.” Wanda lied without a change in her expression. However, Nicholas had seen through her lies. He didn’t see the need to expose her, so his attitude became more and more apathetic and distant. “Ah. Thank you.”
As Wanda was a sensitive person, she noticed that Nicholas’ attitude had changed. She didn’t know what she didn’t do right, so she could only smile and reply, “You’re welcome.”
After taking medicine, Nicholas saw that Wanda was still standing there, so he said coldly, “Is there anything else?”
In other words, if you have nothing to do, please leave.
Naturally, Wanda understood. Although she was unhappy, she was sensible and did not insist on staying. “I’ll leave now.”
Nicholas nodded before falling back into work.
On the other side, at Dynasty Gardens, Tessa was bored at home, so she made some pastries. As her loyal supporter, Gregory kept singing her praises after the pastries came out of the oven.
“Mommy, the pastries you made are the best I have ever eaten.”
“Really?”
“Really, I never lie.”
While eating the pastries, Gregory nodded vigorously in response to Tessa. His two cheeks were stuffed up like a little hamster. Isn’t Greg the cutest kid in the world? Aw!
The two joked around for a while. Soon, Tessa put the prepared pastries in two thermal boxes, then smiled at Gregory. “Let’s go and give them to your father and uncle.”
Of course, Gregory agreed. In this way, the two came to the headquarters of Sawyer Group and entered the president’s office unimpeded.
“Oh, what brings you here?” Nicholas was a little surprised when he saw the two. Tessa held up the thermal box in her hand and smiled. “We’re here to bring you afternoon tea.”
“Daddy, I made this with Mommy.” Gregory also begged for compliments next to her.
Nicholas looked on with a gentle expression. He asked Tessa to stay and eat together, but Tessa refused. “I want to send it to Tim while it’s hot, so you can enjoy them alone.” After speaking, Tessa winked at Nicholas playfully, then left the office with Gregory.
Tessa was also unimpeded at Reinhart Group. The company’s veteran employees also knew her, so they greeted her and Gregory enthusiastically.
“Hello, Miss Reinhart.”
“Is Miss Reinhart here again to bring food to our general manager?”
Tessa responded with a smile.
As they entered the office, Timothy was delighted to see his sister and Gregory, so he gestured to them to take their seats.
“Why didn’t you call me when you came here so I could go down and pick you up?”
“It’s just a short walk. You don’t need to pick me up.”
Tessa gave her younger brother a look, then handed over the thermal box in her hand. “I made some pastries, and they’re still warm. Remember to eat it while it’s warm.”
As soon as she spoke, a girl knocked on the door and came in to bring tea. She was a stunning young lady who appeared to be in her early twenties. She walked toward Tessa, bowed, and said softly, “I heard that the general manager’s sister is pregnant, so I brought you juice. It’s very fresh, and I just squeezed it.”
Tessa looked at the pretty girl in front of her, a little surprised.
“Are you new here?”
After all, she hadn’t seen this girl the last time she came. The girl nodded, straightened up, and introduced herself at once. “I just came for an internship last month; my name is Sabrina Gulliver.”
“I see.”
Tessa nodded; her first impression of Sabrina was not bad.
But that was about it.
After all, after experiencing what Yvette did last time, she couldn’t help but be a little worried when a beautiful girl appeared beside her brother.
After waiting for Sabrina to leave, she couldn’t help reminding her brother, “Does this girl have any ulterior motive in approaching you? You have to be careful.”
