Edward considered the question for a moment before he answered hesitantly, “There was at blind date arranged for me, but the other party was not interested in me.”
“Why would they have no interest in you?” Nicholas looked astonished and glanced at Edward curiously. Edward scratched his head and replied. awkwardly, “When the other party heard that I was just an assistant, they felt that I had no future prospects. Therefore, they refused the marriage.”
