Always Been Yours Chapter 1486

Gregory was at the age to attend elementary school and was sent to study in a renowned international bilingual school in Vienna. His favorite to do after school every day was to teach Gordon.

Now that Gordon was three years old, his features stood out more, and he perfectly inherited the best parts of Nicholas and Tessa. One day, Tessa returned abroad after a group performance.

However, Sofia requested her presence the moment she arrived. “You’re looking for me, Miss Sofia?” She knocked on the office door and looked at Sofia sitting at the table with confusion. Sofia nodded and asked with concern, “How was the performance?”

“It went well.” Tessa nodded and briefly reported what had happened. After the simple chat, Sofia got down to business. “I’ve got some good news for you. A couple of days after you departed, I received an invitation from Wiener Musikverein. They have requested your presence to do a solo performance.”

Tessa was utterly stunned when she heard Sofia’s words. “Is that true, Miss Sofia? The Wiener Musikverein sent me an invitation?” She looked at Sofia incredulously.

Sofia fully understood how she felt at that moment and nodded with a smile. “Yes, I have. the invitation right here.” Then, she whisked out a black and gold invitation and placed it on the table.

Tessa couldn’t wait as she darted forward to pick it up. As expected, she saw the logo exclusive to Wiener Musikverein. “I can’t believe it’s real.” She was so delighted.

and surprised that her hands were shaking. Sofia watched Tessa’s reaction and couldn’t help but find it interesting. Tessa had become more composed for the past two years as her fame grew.

So, it had been a long time since she saw Tessa emoting so openly. Nonetheless, Sofia congratulated her, “Congratulations. You’ve finally achieved your dream.” “This is all due to your guidance that I can be where I am today, Miss Sofia.”

Tessa looked at her with earnest gratitude. She knew very well she wouldn’t be able to grow so fast without Sofia’s thorough guidance and teaching over these past two years.

Those words also warmed Sofia’s heart. Although Tessa had become more well-known, she still remained humble. They continued to chat for a while more before parting ways.

As Tessa exited the office, she couldn’t wait and called Nicholas to share the good news. “You’re back?” Nicholas’ charming voice came through once the call connected. Tessa nodded with a smile. “Yup. And I’ve got big news too.”

Then, she told him about the invitation from Wiener Musikverein before gushing, “I didn’t expect to achieve my dreams so quickly. I thought I would still need to wait a few more years.”

“This proves that you’re competent enough now.” Nicholas praised her before suggesting, “Let’s go out for a celebration tonight. I’ll pick you up later.” Tessa naturally wouldn’t reject his offer. That night, Nicholas drove to Sofia Symphony.

When Tessa exited the building, she saw Nicholas leaning against the car, looking as handsome as ever. Yet, she realized he was alone when she approached him and asked curiously, “Where’s Gregory and Gordon?”

“They’re at home,” he answered truthfully before pulling the car door open for her. She assumed he came from the company and that they were going to pick up the children. So, she didn’t say anything about that and got in without another word.

As the car drove on the road, she realized something was off. They weren’t on their way home. “Aren’t we going to pick up Gregory and Gordon?”

She looked over in confusion. Nicholas glanced at her and said with a deep look, “I don’t want anyone to disturb us tonight. The nanny will take care of them. You don’t need to worry.”

Tessa was dumbfounded as she stared at his handsome side profile and teased, “Haha. In that case, they will definitely cause trouble for you tomorrow.”
