“You’re spouting nonsense, accusing me without evidence. I didn’t add anything to the fire source, and I have no idea why it exploded.” Upon realizing she was being falsely accused, Carla was immediately filled with rage and roared in anger.
“Do you think you’re clean just because you said that? What proof do you have? Out of all the disciples in the assessment, only you have the power to increase the strength of the fire source. If it wasn’t you, then who could it be?” Thiago questioned Carla for an answer.
“It was her. I saw her sneaking up to the fire source. Also, during this whole thing, she, a participating examination deacon, didn’t seem to be in a hurry at all. It was clear she was up to no good.” Upon seeing the situation, Adan also directed his accusations at Carla.
At that moment, Carla was at a loss for words and flushed with frustration. Yet, she didn’t know how to retort.
She didn’t understand why the fire source suddenly erupted.
In the end, Carla started crying out of sheer injustice, Seeing Carla’s demeanor, Thiago and Adan were brimming with satisfaction.
Jared couldn’t help but shake his head. It’s like that saying. Those who wrong you often know better than you just how unjustly treated you are.
Upon seeing Thiago and Adan both blaming Carla, Judd also voiced out his question. “Carla, did you do this?”
After all, among those disciples, only Carla had the capability to pull off something like that.
To Judd, it was possible that Carla was scared of losing in the end and sabotaged the assessment, ensuring that a winner couldn’t be determined.
Upon hearing Judd’s question, Carla looked at him with a sense of injustice and said, “You… You think I did it too?”

“You jerk! Get lost. I didn’t do it at all,” Carla roared in anger and was truly on the verge of a breakdown.
Observing Carla’s breakdown, Judd also grew somewhat fearful.
Rohan asked Carla, “If it wasn’t you, then who was it? The array I set up for the evaluation would never malfunction. Who exactly amplified the power of the fire source?”

Jared finally understood why many people who were wronged to the point of despair would commit suicide. It was because they had truly reached their breaking point.
“Die, then! Once you’re dead, we’ll believe you,” said Adan smugly.
If Carla committed suicide, then it would be easy to place the blame squarely on her. It would be seen as her taking her own life due to her own wrongdoings.
In a state of utter despair, Carla let out a loud cry, abruptly striking her crown.
Jared, who was standing nearby, was quick to react. He immediately stepped forward and firmly grabbed Carla’s wrist.
“Carla, you weren’t responsible. Why would you contemplate suicide? By doing this, aren’t you just letting the culprit escape without punishment?” Jared spoke to Carla.
Carla looked at Jared and asked, “No one believes me… Jared, do you believe me?”
“I believe in you.” Jared nodded in agreement.
Of course he believed her. After all, he was the one responsible.
Carla threw herself into Jared’s arms, bursting into tears.
That left Jared somewhat at a loss.
