Nieva spent nearly every night sleepless ever since Jared left Lunarius Palace.
The retaliation from the Mueller family was unpredictable, and Nieva was constantly worried.
Although she repeatedly claimed not to fear the Mueller family’s retaliation, deep down she was still worried.
Having reached Ultimate Realm, Nieva was not afraid of the Mueller family. If worst came to worst, she could simply flee to save herself.
However, her concern was that Lunarius Palace, which she had painstakingly built up, would face disaster.
The disciples from Lunarius Palace were not particularly strong to begin with, and the expedition to the polar region had resulted in the loss of numerous holy maidens and outer circle disciples.
Currently, aside from Nieva herself, the strength of Lunarius Palace was likely not even on par with a second-rate sect.
If the Mueller family were to seek revenge, how could we possibly stop the attack? And what about that polar stone mine? After all the trouble we went through to find it, are we really just going to hand it over to the Mueller family?
Nieva gazed out the window, her eyes filled with concern.
“Is Lunarius Palace fated to be obliterated? Can’t we ever rise in glory?” Nieva murmured to herself.
At that moment, Bianca walked in and asked, “Ms. Nieva, haven’t you rested yet?”
“Is everything set up?” Nieva asked.
“Yup! I’ve also placed several arcane arrays on the front door. Now, Lunarius Palace is as secure as a fortress! No one can possibly get in!” Bianca declared with utmost confidence.
Nieva merely shook her head with a smile. Only she knew that these defensive arcane arrays, when faced with the Mueller family’s attack, were likely to crumble with ease.
“Go get some rest. Inform all the disciples to seize the moment for training. It won’t be long before we might have to face a fierce battle,” Nieva said.
Bianca nodded in agreement. “Understood!”
Although Bianca was unaware of what the fierce battle would entail, she could sense an impending danger emanating from Nieva.
At the same time, the lights were brilliantly lit at the Mueller residence too.
Nolan hadn’t yet emerged, and everything was being managed by Terrence. Keiran and Selma had died, and everyone in the Mueller family was clad in white.
Hundreds of people stood solemnly in the Mueller family’s square. These individuals represented the entirety of the Mueller family.
All the siblings were summoned as well.
A disciple of the Mueller family stepped forward and said, “Mr. Stinton, all members of the Mueller family have been gathered and are simply awaiting your command.”
With a wave of his hand, Terrence commanded the attention of everyone from the Mueller family, who were all awaiting in the square. “Everyone stay put! The head of the family will likely be able to come out in a day or two.”
These individuals remained motionless, showcasing the strict hierarchy within the Mueller family.
It was evident that, despite not being a blood relative, Terrence was able to manage everything in the Mueller family. This clearly showed the level of trust Nolan had in him.
The following morning, Jared personally sought out representatives from the Five Great Sects, the Summers family, and the Soul Demon Sect.
Suddenly, within a grand mansion in Southedge City, there was an overwhelming crowd of thousands.
In the grand hall of the mansion, Igor, Hanes, Tyler, Serena, Lauden, Keelan, Lion Archon, and leaders from various prestigious families and sects, had gathered together.
As Jared gazed upon the people before him, he felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude welling up within him.
Even though these individuals had once received favors from Jared, in Ethereal Realm, many were driven by self-interest, their hearts clouded by personal gain.
Despite Jared having assisted them, there were still plenty who betrayed and abandoned him.
Jared facilitated introductions among the major sects and families, aiming to prevent any potential chaotic battles. He wanted to ensure that everyone knew each other to avoid any accidental harm due to unfamiliarity.
At that moment, within this residence, it was the first time a collaboration between humans, demons, and beasts had been achieved.
And all of this started because of Jared.
Jared once again recounted the situation to everyone in a simplified manner and offered everyone another chance to back out.
After all, many were bound to lose their lives following the battle with the Mueller family.
If anyone were to back out at this point, Jared wouldn’t hold any grudges against them.
Surprisingly, these people were all in unison, obediently following Jared’s directives.
