Jared heaved a long sigh of relief, his gaze fixed on the Celestial Devourer, overjoyed beyond words. This little one is already so impressive at such a small size. “Brat, don’t even think about taking my Celestial Devourer. I’ve restored my physical body, and I plan to ride it across the celestial realm.” Vermilion Demon Lord, aware of Jared’s thoughts, quickly spoke up.
“This Celestial Devourer is found by me. Your Celestial Devourer has been dead for a while now.” Jared didn’t believe that Celestial Devourer was actually Vermilion Demon Lord’s.
Vermilion Demon Lord was momentarily speechless. However, he realized it was indeed Jared who had found that little Celestial Devourer.
Thus, he began to discuss matters with Jared. “Brat, let’s make a deal. Until I recover my physical body, you can use it while you’re in Ethereal Realm. Once I’ve regained my physical body, you’ll have to return it to me. By then, you’ll have just ascended into immortals, penniless. You won’t be able to afford to keep it.”

“All right then.” Jared nodded in agreement.
It seemed that Jared really couldn’t afford to maintain that Celestial Devourer.
Looking at the demon beast corpses scattered all over the ground, Jared was extremely thrilled. After all, each one of those bodies contained a beast core.
With so many beast cores, Jared had enough to use for quite a while.
Ignoring the Celestial Devourer, Jared bent over to start collecting the beast cores.
He started using Dragonslayer Sword to dissect the bodies of the demon beasts, retrieving the beast’s core.
Suddenly, the tiny Celestial Devourer let out a roar, immediately followed by opening its enormous mouth.
Suddenly, the entire sky changed its color. The gaping mouth of Celestial Devourer was akin to a black hole, filled with a powerful pull.
Before Jared could react, the bodies of the demon beasts and their beast cores were swiftly devoured by the Celestial Devourer.
In just a blink of an eye, all that remained on the ground was the vivid red stain of blood. The bodies of the demon beasts, along with their beast cores, were nowhere to be found.
Jared was dumbfounded.
Celestial Devourer, having let out a satisfied belch, returned to the Storage Ring to sleep.
Jared couldn’t help but let out a curse. “F*ck!”
Despite risking his life to slay so many demon beasts, he shockingly received nothing in return.
Although the beast outbreak had been scared off by the Celestial Devourer, it had devoured all the beast cores. That was rather unfair in Jared’s eyes as he believed some should’ve been shared with him.
At that moment, Jared was beyond words.
Vermilion Demon Lord looked at Jared’s utterly despondent expression and burst into uproarious laughter. “I told you that you couldn’t afford to keep it. You’re already fighting over things with it when it’s this small.”
Jared could only sigh, slowly making his way up the hill.
At that moment, the chill mist had already dissipated. Everyone saw that the foothills were no longer under the assault of the beast outbreak, becoming incredibly tranquil.
Only the silhouette of Jared was slowly ascending the hill.
It was as if the outbreak of beasts had suddenly vanished. Upon witnessing the situation, Bianca and the others hurriedly rushed toward Jared.
