Lauden didn’t expect Jared to have this ability. Surprised, he watched. Jared didn’t emit any trace of the Demonic Cultivator’s aura but could absorb the lethal intent.
This was quite peculiar!
“Stop, this lethal intent is all mine!” Ivan roared, his body turning into a storm of black mist that surged toward Jared.
Seeing this, Lauden was about to intervene but heard Jared say calmly, “Mr. Delacroix, don’t move. Watch me deal with him!”
With that, Jared instantly produced the Demon Flogger in his hand.
Crack!
As the Demon Flogger cracked loudly, the dark mist was destroyed completely.
Ivan was forced to retreat.
“Kid, is that a Demon Flogger in your hand?” Ivan demanded.
“Yes. I didn’t expect you to recognize the Demon Flogger.”
With that, Jared swung his Demon Flogger toward Ivan.
Ivan hurriedly dodged as he dared not take this whip head-on.
“Who are you exactly? How can you absorb the lethal intent? There’s no Demonic Cultivator aura on you!” Ivan demanded.
After being whipped twice by Jared, Ivan also calmed down, no longer claiming the lethal intent was his.
“What’s the big deal about absorbing the lethal intent? I can even absorb the energy from the marked aura!” Jared said as the marked aura within him began to spread.
Ivan was confused, unable to believe what he saw. “How is this possible? This marked aura can only be cultivated by Elder Hadad. Who are you exactly?”
“Isn’t it obvious enough?” Jared stared coldly at Ivan.
Ivan frowned. “Are you the reincarnation of Elder Hadad?”
“Nonsense. My soul was suppressed. It took a lot of effort to escape and return to the Ethereal Realm. I never thought that my lineage of Elder Hadad would become someone else’s lackey. That’s utterly humiliating!” Jared said in a pretentious manner.
“Ah, reincarnation through possession? Are you truly Elder Nesser?”
Ivan was shocked.
Even Lauden, who was beside them, couldn’t believe it. How had he not noticed that Jared was possessed?
“Nonsense. Can the marked aura be fake? You disciples, not even capable of learning one percent of my essence. All you do is absorb the lethal intent all day. You harm innocent beings, all for that shred of lethal intent. You’re worse than pigs and dogs, behaving like beasts. How could I have descendants like you? When I rebuild my body and return to my peak, I’ll see who is your master. I’ll kill him for sure!”
Jared pointed at Ivan, unleashing a torrent of insults at him!
Ivan dared not make a sound, standing there with his head bowed in trembling fear.
Jared cursed with great satisfaction. One could only wonder what Hadad would feel, knowing that Jared was impersonating him, berating his own disciples and descendants!
“Wait a minute…”
Suddenly, Ivan lifted his head, his face full of confusion as he asked, “If you’re Elder Hadad reincarnated, how could you have demonic fire?”
Jared was taken aback. He had indeed started attacking Ivan with the demonic fire.

You guys stooped to every conceivable wickedness, even serving as dogs for the Demon Seal Alliance. If Hadad knew about this, he’d be furious.
Jared’s words caused Ivan to be consumed by fury.
