Jared witnessed the exuberance of the Summers family members and was deeply moved.
It demonstrated that Tyler had earned the trust and respect of the Summers family.
“Even though you have a strong determination to fight, do you plan to fight with just your fists without any mystical weapons?” Catina asked.
As practitioners of magecraft and charms, the Summers family members rarely possessed mystical or divine weapons.
However, as the attacking party this time, relying solely on arcane arrays or charms might not be the best strategy.
“Even if we have to fight with our bare fists, we’ll fight against the Henningsen family until the end,” Todd declared, clenching his fists.
“I have some divine weapons here. Choose ones that suit you,” Jared said, taking out numerous divine weapons from his Storage Ring.
Many of these had been acquired from the Celestial Battlefield. Looking at the divine weapons, the Summers family members were amazed.
“Mr. Chance, you have so many precious treasures. They’re invaluable!” Jennifer exclaimed enviously.
“While these divine weapons are decent, they’re of no use to me. You should choose what suits you, Jared smiled faintly.
Soon, the Summers family members began selecting weapons.
Jared watched them from aside. He was already equipped with the Dragonslayer Sword, Dragon Bell, and Demon Flogger, so he didn’t need additional divine weapons.
These divine weapons had endured thousands of years of erosion, losing some of their original power. Nonetheless, having such weapons in hand would significantly enhance the Summers family’s strength.
Once the Summers family selected their weapons, Jared also provided some life-saving pills. Since Jared couldn’t be available at all times to heal any injured Summers family members, having some pills on hand would be beneficial.
With everything prepared, the Summers family members gained more confidence.
“Today, we’ll go all out against the Henningsen family. Even if it means death, I’ll make sure to take someone down with me.”
“If we fail to rescue Mr. Tyler, we won’t survive. We’ll give it our all!”
“Even if we must self-destruct and never be reborn, we won’t compromise.”
They shouted in unison, expressing their determination.
“Jared, I… I also want to contribute to the Summers family. Can you neutralize the poison inside me?” Oscar, caught up in the fervor of the Summers family members, asked Jared excitedly.
“Mr. Chance, absolutely not. The poison must not be neutralized.”
Jennifer no longer trusted her uncle.
“Mr. Chance, Oscar has betrayed our ancestors and betrayed the family. His words can’t be trusted,” Todd added, trying to dissuade Jared.
Now that Oscar was poisoned, he dared not make any reckless moves. If the poison was neutralized, who knew what he might do?
Oscar’s face turned red with shame, but his gaze remained firm as he looked at Jared. “I will never do anything that betrays the Summers family. If the Henningsen family dares to play tricks on me, I’ll confront them head-on!”
“Trust me, I would never betray my own family.”
Jared looked at Oscar and casually handed him a pill. “This is an antidote. Once you take it, the poison will be automatically neutralized. No one will control you anymore. You’re on your own now.”
Oscar swallowed the antidote in one gulp, his eyes filled with fury. “I’m going to the Henningsen family to fight for my honor. They treated me like a dog, and I absolutely cannot tolerate that insult.”
After saying this, Oscar actually took the lead and charged toward the Henningsen family!
Seeing this, Jared and the others hurriedly followed, rushing toward the Henningsen family’s residence.
Jared knew that many people might die in this confrontation.
However, there was absolutely no trace of fear or cowardice on the faces of those from the Summers family!
Even when facing the formidable Henningsen family, the Summers family members showed no signs of retreat.
