“I’m fine, everything’s good!” Jared reassured.
“Jared, what was that lightning tribulation cloud just now? I thought Pablo had broken through to the Ultimate Realm. But I didn’t see any changes in him, and you didn’t either. What exactly happened?” Catina asked curiously.
Jared smiled and took out the little Celestial Devourer.
“Look, it hatched from the beast egg,” Jared explained.
“Wow, such a cute little creature. Is this a unicorn?” Catina exclaimed, reaching out to touch it.
Roar!
As soon as Catina reached out, the Celestial Devourer let out a roar!
Catina was taken aback and quickly retreated in fear. She hadn’t expected such an adorable little unicorn to be so ferocious.
“Fox Queen, this is not a unicorn. It’s a Celestial Devourer. Its temperament is wild, so you’d better not provoke it,” Feenix warned Catina.
Feenix, being more experienced, could easily distinguish between a unicorn and a Celestial Devourer.
“Celestial Devourer?” Catina was surprised and quickly stepped back.
Tyler, Jennifer, and the others looked at the Celestial Devourer in Jared’s hands curiously. However, they didn’t understand what a Celestial Devourer was or how formidable it could be.
Jared put the Celestial Devourer away. He still didn’t know its temperament, and he didn’t want it to harm anyone.
“Okay, let’s leave this place as soon as possible.”
Jared was afraid that Pablo would return, so he thought about leaving as quickly as possible. Everyone nodded and followed Jared as they swiftly left.
After leaving the mountain, Tyler stepped forward and thanked Jared, “Mr. Chance, thank you very much. Without you, our family wouldn’t have obtained the charm spells of the Skywrath Sect. We plan to leave this Celestial Battlefield. Obtaining the charm spells from the Skywrath Sect is the greatest fortune for our Summers family.”
“Mr. Summers, you’re too kind. Since you’re leaving, I won’t stop you. Please take care,” Jared told Tyler.
“Mr. Chance, if you have the time, do visit my humble abode. I assure you, I’ll have some fine wine ready for your reception.”
Tyler extended an invitation to Jared.
“Sure, I will!” Jared politely accepted.
As a family renowned for their mastery of arcane arrays and charms, the Summers family had obtained the charm spell from the Skywrath Sect, which was undoubtedly their most precious possession. Hence, it was entirely reasonable for them to leave before the closure of the Celestial Battlefield.
After all, there were all sorts of people in the Celestial Battlefield. If they stayed any longer, who knew what dangers they might encounter?
After bidding farewell to the Summers family, Jared left with Feenix and Catina.
“Master, where are we going next?” Feenix asked.
“Let’s wander around aimlessly. I estimate that this Celestial Battlefield will close in a few days,” Jared replied.
Jared also had no destination in mind as he had no idea where the magical items could be!
Jared walked with Feenix and Catina through the dense forest, simultaneously using his spiritual sense to enter his consciousness field so he could delve into the study of the Blazing Stride.
Now, he had to rely on his own research since the hot-tempered Fire Spirit Lord had left abruptly without explaining anything.
Jared walked distractedly, contemplating the essentials of Blazing Stride.
Sometime later, Feenix suddenly yelled, “Master, look!”
Jared hurriedly emerged from his consciousness field. Immediately, he saw the earth in front of him torn apart, trees toppled over, and a considerable amount of chaotic currents scattered about. It was clear that a battle had just taken place.
Several unrecognizable bodies lay on the ground, presenting a sight too gruesome to behold.
“Everyone wants to obtain magical items, but how many can safely leave this Celestial Battlefield?” Catina sighed.
