“Unicorn? Ridiculous. This is not a unicorn! It’s a Celestial Devourer, the mount of a level nine Vermilion Demon Lord,” exclaimed Fire Spirit Lord.
“A mount of a demon? Isn’t this a unicorn? What exactly is a Celestial Devourer?” Jared wore a look of confusion on his face.
“The Celestial Devourer is a ferocious creature, notoriously difficult to tame. It is said to be the offspring of a unicorn and a ravenousor, though I’m not entirely certain. But how could a Celestial Devourer lay eggs in this Celestial Battlefield? And the Vermilion Demon Lord couldn’t possibly come here? It’s strange, truly strange…”
Fire Spirit Lord wore a face full of confusion. Upon hearing this, Jared realized why the little creature resembled a unicorn so much. After all, it was a hybrid.
Regardless of whether it was a unicorn or a Celestial Devourer, Jared had put in a lot of effort to hatch it and establish a bond. So, he would take care of it.
Putting the little Celestial Devourer back into the Storage Ring, Jared asked Fire Spirit Lord, “Sir, is this pocket watch a time magical item, and is it powerful?”
Only now did the Fire Spirit Lord glance at the pocket watch in Jared’s hand. He explained dismissively, “This is indeed a time magical item, but it seems to be damaged. Your current strength is just right to use it. However, this thing probably won’t be usable many more times. It’s useful for you now, but when you ascend to immortality, you won’t need it.”
Upon hearing this, Jared hurriedly continued to ask, “Sir, could you instruct me on how to activate this magical item?”
“I came to impart to you the teachings of divine martial arts, yet you truly regard me as your master, expecting me to teach you everything.”
Fire Spirit Lord glared at Jared. With a casual wave of his hand, a ray of light entered Jared’s consciousness field.
“Sir, what is this divine martial art called?” Jared asked, sensing the divine martial art in his consciousness field.
“This is the Blazing Stride. Once you refine it, you can cover a hundred miles in a single step. If you encounter enemies you can’t defeat, you can use the Blazing Stride to escape,” Fire Spirit Lord explained.
“What? An escaping technique?” Jared was momentarily speechless. “I already know the Wind Walk, which allows me to run very fast…”
“You understand nothing. The Gale Step improves speed by increasing your running frequency. On the other hand, my Blazing Stride can help you teleport, allowing you to cover a hundred miles in a single step. I’m passing on my technique, but you are too picky. I won’t teach you anymore…”
After Fire Spirit Lord finished speaking, his figure suddenly vanished into thin air!
“Sir? Sir!” Jared shouted, but there was no trace of Fire Spirit Lord.
Jared saw that he was still inside the bronze cauldron. The inner wall of the cauldron was incredibly smooth, and there were absolutely no martial arts techniques engraved on it!

Jared climbed out of the bronze cauldron, his eyes filled with bewilderment!
But when Jared’s spiritual sense entered his consciousness field, he found the Blazing Stride there. This time, he understood that it wasn’t a dream at all.
“This old man is quite hot-tempered.”
Jared was momentarily speechless to discover that Fire Spirit Lord was playing around with him!
After surveying the grand hall once more, Jared found no other hidden magical items. Quietly, he began to observe the area outside the hall.
Jared was afraid that Pablo might still be outside. If he rashly went out, wouldn’t it be like walking into a tiger’s den?
After secretly observing for a while, he noticed that Pablo was not outside. Only after Jared had carefully scanned the area with his spiritual sense did he dare to step out of the grand hall!
Just as Jared stepped out of the grand hall, it suddenly vanished, as if it had never existed at all.
“Master…”
At that moment, Feenix and the rest charged up from halfway up the mountain.
“How did you all get up here?” Jared asked.
“We saw that guy named Pablo leave, so we feared you might be in danger and rushed over. Are you okay?” Feenix sounded concerned.
