“Hold on a little longer, Old Mr. Giuvali, I can sense Master is ahead. Things will be fine once we find him,” Feenix reassured.
“Okay!” Misho nodded and began sprinting again.
Behind them were a dozen similarly dressed cultivators chasing after them.
“Stop! Who are you people?”
Suddenly, Catina appeared before Misho’s group, stopping them in their tracks.
When they saw Catina blocking their path, they ceased their steps. All of them grimaced upon realizing Catina was exuding an aura only a Seventh Level Tribulator cultivator could possess.
Misho was the most powerful among them, and he was only a Sixth Level Tribulator cultivator. Additionally, he was injured. Even if his group worked together, it was unlikely they could defeat Catina.
Hamish stepped forward and asked politely, “May I know why you’re stopping us?”
Catina swept her gaze past the group and realized they were all weak and wounded. In other words, they wouldn’t pose a threat to her, and she relaxed.
“Ahead is my territory. None of you are allowed to go forward.”
“Enemies are pursuing us, and we must continue our journey to survive. No matter what’s in your territory, we don’t desire it or wish to snatch it away from you,” said Hamish humbly.
“No. Leave here at once or face the consequences.” Catina didn’t believe him.
At that moment, Hamish felt somewhat awkward. Cloud was enraged by her words. “How can you be so bossy? We’re-”
Before he could finish his sentence, Catina waved her hand, sending him flying away. His life wasn’t in danger because she didn’t wish to kill anyone. When Catina attacked, Feenix widened her eyes in surprise. “Fox Queen?”
Catina turned to Feenix in slight confusion, frowning. “Who are you? Why do you know me?”
“It’s me, Feenix!” As Feenix spoke, flames engulfed her body, and she let out a phoenix cry.
Catina looked at Feenix in disbelief and astonishment. “Feenix? How… did you end up like this?”
“It’s a long story.” Feenix sighed. “I didn’t expect your strength to rise so quickly after so many years. I remember you were the weakest among the kings and archons way back when.”
“It’s all thanks to you. If you hadn’t defended me back then and granted me many resources, perhaps I’d still be struggling and subjected to humiliation.” A wave of solemnity washed over Catina’s face as she journeyed back in memory.
Feenix looked even more despondent when she heard that. “In the past, you kings and archons were nothing before me, but now you can kill me in the blink of an eye.”
The crowd breathed a sigh of relief upon learning that Feenix knew Catina. After all, they wouldn’t have been able to get through a Seventh Level Tribulator cultivator, not to mention they were still being chased after.

“These guys are from Bulrush Sect. When we discovered a celestial ore mine earlier, we were targeted by them. Due to their superior numbers and strength, they killed a few of us and pursued us here,” Feenix answered.
