He could feel that Pablo was rapidly closing in on his position.
“F*ck! Why won’t he leave me alone? How did he even manage to find me here?” Jared muttered under his breath.
He then turned toward Cameron and continued, “Sorry, Mr. Nesser, but I have to get going now. There are still some things I need to take care of.”
Jared quickly ran off after saying that, leaving Cameron rooted to the spot in confusion. Before Cameron could say anything further, a figure ran past him. Behind that figure were over a dozen Demonic Cultivators.
They didn’t even glance at those from the Nesser family as they passed them by, so it was obvious that those people were all after Jared.
At that moment, Cameron knew that Jared was telling the truth about putting them in danger if he teamed up with them.
“Come on! Let’s go take a look!”
Skylar became all excited when he saw Jared being pursued. He wanted to see how powerful Jared had become as the latter’s cultivation level alone was no longer an accurate representation of his true strength.
Thinking that Skylar wanted to help Jared out, Cameron asked, “Are we going to lend Mr. Chance a hand, Elder Nesser?”
Skylar shot Cameron a glare and said, “No. We’re just there to see what happens. Is that understood?”
He then ran off in Jared’s direction immediately after, prompting Cameron to follow suit. Meanwhile, Jared felt the dangerous aura getting closer and closer.
“What the f*ck? How did that guy locate me?”
Jared had no idea how Pablo was able to pinpoint his exact location each time.
