Pablo was covered in blood from head to toe as he stood there with countless demon beast corpses beneath his feet. Having arrived late, Dimas swallowed nervously and didn’t dare say a word when he saw that.
Pablo’s battle against the demon beasts had attracted quite a lot of cultivators to the scene, most of whom were Demonic Cultivators.
However, the human cultivators ran off in fear when they felt Pablo’s demonic aura and saw the demon beast corpses all around him.
While the human cultivators feared that Pablo would go berserk and kill them all, the Demonic Cultivators had excitement written all over their faces.
One could only imagine the amount of beast cores they could get from all those demon beast corpses.
As those demon beasts grew up on the Celestial Battlefield, their beast cores were much better than those outside.
While those Demonic Cultivators were busy looting the beast cores, Pablo ignored them completely. Although he was the one who killed the demon beasts, he wasn’t interested in the beast cores at all.
Dimas, too, started looting the beast cores.
As Pablo stared off into the distance, an eye appeared in between his brows. The world turned dark as he activated Nethersky Eye once again, and he could clearly see the direction in which Jared fled.
The eye on Pablo’s forehead then vanished shortly after, and he exuded a murderous aura as he said, “Don’t even think about running from me within the Celestial Battlefield!”
He then headed off in Jared’s direction, prompting most of the Demonic Cultivators to do the same.
They hoped that they would be able to collect some magical items by following behind Pablo.
Since there was no order in the Celestial Battlefield, the Demonic Cultivators had to remain united. Otherwise, they could be easily killed by cultivators from other races.
Human cultivators and beast race cultivators, too, sought out companions as traveling alone would make them easy targets.
Meanwhile, Jared was resting atop a huge rock. He didn’t think Pablo would be able to track him down and catch up to him so easily.
He was about to close his eyes when he felt people approaching. Jared quickly put his guard up in response, only to relax when he saw that it was Cameron and the members of the Nesser family.
“Mr. Chance! It truly is a pleasant surprise seeing you here! I heard you came in here in advance using a VIP token. Did you manage to get anything so far?” Cameron exclaimed excitedly when he saw Jared.
“I didn’t get much. This Celestial Battlefield is huge, so finding magical items here isn’t as easy as I had imagined. Did you manage to find anything?” Jared responded.
“We only managed to find some mystical herbs and obtained some beast cores from demon beasts that we killed. Not much luck with magical items here either. Do you have companions, Mr. Chance? If not, we could team up and travel together. There are no rules here in this Celestial Battlefield, so it’d be dangerous to fight alone,” Cameron said passionately, inviting Jared to join his group.
“It’s fine. I’m used to doing things by myself. If we travel together, you guys might not be able to get anything at all!” Jared replied, rejecting Cameron’s invitation politely.
As Jared had entered the Celestial Battlefield three days before they did, Cameron figured he would know more about it than they did. As such, he tried to persuade Jared once again. “Mr. Chance, if we travel together, we could-”
“Stop forcing him if he doesn’t want to, Cameron.” Skylar cut him off all of a sudden.
Cameron immediately lowered his head and said, “Got it, Elder Nesser…”
Jared shot Skylar a glance and explained, “Το tell you guys the truth, I offended quite a lot of people here in this Celestial Battlefield. You guys are bound to get caught in the crossfire if I join your group.”
While speaking, he casually cast his spiritual sense in Skylar’s direction.
