Jared brought Rosetta to a quiet location and effortlessly drew an arcane array to recover rapidly.
Without hesitation, Jared brought out all the resources kept within his Storage Ring. In the blink of an eye, he absorbed various spiritual stones and mystical herbs with Focus Technique. Despite that, he needed more time if he wished to recover fully.
If he had enough celestial energy at that moment, he could achieve full restoration in a short period, but he didn’t know where to locate dense celestial energy.
As he considered his options, his sight inadvertently wandered toward the spirit beast egg.
The spirit beast egg had absorbed celestial energy for thousands of years, so if he ate it, he was sure he’d be able to recover his strength immediately. Hence, he stared at the spirit beast egg thoughtfully, wondering if he should consume it.
Danger lurked in every corner of the Celestial Battlefield. If he failed to recover in time, he would be in deep trouble if someone targeted him.
Just as Jared was lost in thought while gazing at the egg, the spirit beast egg swayed slightly as though it could sense danger. Then, a massive amount of celestial energy burst forth from within the egg.
Jared was taken aback for a moment before smiling. He didn’t expect the spirit beast egg to possess intelligence and could read his mind even before it hatched.
That turn of events roused Jared’s interest in the spirit beast egg. He couldn’t help but wonder what kind of creature was hiding within the egg.
Jared ravenously absorbed the celestial energy emitted from the spirit beast egg, recovering speedily. However, during that process, he abruptly detected a terrifying aura approaching. An expert’s here!
Unfortunately, before he could do anything, the enemy had already arrived at his location. They were none other than Pablo and Dimas.
Upon spotting Rosetta and Jared, Dimas growled with gritted teeth, his eyes filled with contempt. “I finally found you, brat! Today, I will tear you into pieces, and then I’ll have my way with Rosetta!”
Ascending to a higher cultivation level after becoming a Tribulator cultivator was extremely difficult. Previously when Dimas used his Blood Escape Technique, his cultivation level dropped all the way to Third Level Tribulator, so it would be difficult for him to ascend further in the future.
That was why he bore such intense hatred toward Jared and Rosetta. Meanwhile, Pablo remained silent, instead staring intently at the arcane array Jared had set up.
He narrowed his eyes and commented, “To think a mere First Level Tribulator cultivator could establish such a perfect arcane array. It seems you truly are special.”
“No need to waste time talking to them, Mr. Quimar! Let’s murder Jared here, and once we leave the Celestial Battlefield, we’ll massacre the whole of Blood Spirit Valley with my people from Bloodroot Peak!” Dimas was eager to act.
Other than his personal grudge against Jared, there was another reason he wanted Jared to die a horrific death quickly-he wished to capture Rosetta as soon as possible and force himself on her.
He had been enamored with Rosetta for years, yet she only ever had eyes for Dalton, so he had had no chance of winning her heart.
At that moment, neither Dalton nor the others from Blood Spirit Valley were in the Celestial Battlefield, so he could do anything he wanted to her.
He started salivating as he thought about how he would enjoy himself with Rosetta later. His disgusting demeanor spurred Rosetta’s intense desire to murder him. Pablo shot Dimas a cold look. “Are you ordering me?”
The icy glint in Pablo’s eyes had Dimas shuddering in terror.
“N-N-No, I’m not. I would never dare to…” Hastily, Dimas shook his head before moving to stand off to the side and zipping his mouth shut.
Once again, Pablo turned his attention back to Jared, a cold smirk curving his lips.
