Chapter 3286 The Innocent Girl
Hamish came forward and greeted respectfully, “Welcome, Old Mr. Giuvali.”
“I’m sorry for being late, Mr. Chevalier. It was my granddaughter’s fault. She insisted on coming, so I had no choice but to give in to her wishes,” Misho replied apologetically as a young girl stood behind him.
“Your timing is perfect, Old Mr. Giuvali. Since Ms. Giuvali wants to tag along, she can treat it as a holiday.”
Hamish proceeded to usher Misho in. Upon hearing Hamish’s words, Jared let out a wry chuckle. Even with the Seizon family’s connections, the three of them were not accepted by Hamish until Cloud offered the use of his airship.
In contrast to that, Hamish didn’t dare object to a single word of Misho’s and even made it sound like they were going on a holiday.
When Misho strode into the main lobby, everyone got up to greet him. Even though he looked frail and elderly. Jared still noticed the piercing look in his eyes and the powerful aura he emanated.
As for the young girl beside him, her exquisite features and dreamy eyes gave her an innocent look. Little did Jared know that he was being misled by her appearance at his own peril. The girl’s name was Izolda Giuvali, infamous in Yellow Blue City for her vile temper.
While waving at the crowd, Misho swept his fiery gaze across the room until it fell upon Jared, where it lingered for a moment.
“You, why are you so rude? Everyone but you stood up to greet my grandfather. Don’t you know how things work around here?” Izolda questioned Jared, who was stunned.
He had not expected someone who looked so harmless and demure to have such a sharp tongue.
“Izolda, didn’t I warn you not to cause any trouble? If you don’t behave, I’m not going to let you come with me anymore,” Misho reprimanded his granddaughter before giving Jared an apologetic look.
“My friend, please forgive my granddaughter for her bad temper,” he said to the younger man.
“Don’t worry about it.” Jared had not expected someone as powerful as Misho to be so down-to-earth.
“Old Mr. Giuvali, they’re from the Seizon family and are heading to the southern region,” Hamish frantically explained.
“The Seizon family?” Misho was taken aback. “Why have I not seen them before?”
Upon hearing Hamish’s clarification, Misho nodded to indicate his understanding. “I see, they’re with Renault’s son. His eloping back in the day caused an uproar in Yellow Blue City. I can’t believe his son is all grown up now. Young men should put themselves through trials and tribulations. Otherwise, they’ll never mature, just like my granddaughter. All she does is create trouble instead of improving her skills.”
“How can you say that I’m not making any progress, Grandpa? I’m already a Tribulator now,” Izolda defended herself with a pout.
“Yes, yes, you’ve made good progress. I’ve made a mistake,” Master pacified her quickly. The sight of Misho doing so caused the room to burst out in laughter.
“Mr. Chevalier, if everyone is here, why don’t we set off? I’m sure we’ll encounter obstacles along the way that would delay our journey,” Misho suggested.
“Old Mr. Giuvali, we’ll be traveling on an airship this time, which will enable us to save a lot of time,” informed Hamish.
“An airship? How did you find one?” Misho was taken aback. Everyone else was equally surprised, for they had no idea how Hamish had managed to secure an airship.
“Old Mr. Giuvali, the airship is mine. My family established a sect that runs an airship business in the northern region,” Cloud explained upon getting up to his feet.
