Chapter 3264 Working With The Enemy
Jared figured there must be something special about the valley. That was the only explanation he could think of for this strange scenario.
If these nascence beasts can’t leave the valley, then there must be something in there that allows the nascence aura to turn into nascence beasts. They’ll probably turn back into nascence aura if they leave the valley!
Of course, that was just a theory Jared came up with. He had yet to confirm it at the moment. Seeing as they were no longer in danger, Jared and the others made their way back to the entrance of the valley.
Everyone from the Seizon family had looks of terror on their faces as they stared at the gigantic nascence beast. Thank goodness that nascence beast can’t leave the valley! Otherwise, we’d all be dead!
“F*ck! Good thing we made it out of there in time! Otherwise, we would surely have died in that valley! Seriously, what is wrong with the Seizon family? Why do you guys have such a gigantic nascence beast in your ancestral land?” Jadiel exclaimed while wiping the sweat off his forehead.
Yorath and Genya simply exchanged glances without saying anything. Little did Jadiel know, they had been cursing at him in their heads countless times over.
He was the one who insisted on entering the cave and angering that gigantic nascence beast! How dare he complain after nearly getting us all killed?
As if to challenge those staring at it, the gigantic nascence beast let out a deafening roar in response.
“Can you imagine the amount of nascence aura we can get by killing that gigantic nascence beast?”
Jared got all excited as he stared the gigantic nascence beast down. Unfortunately, he wasn’t sure if he could kill that monstrosity with his current capability.
Had there not been all those other smaller nascence beasts around, he would definitely have given it a try.
Going in there with that sea of nascence beasts around is suicidal! It’d be great if someone could help lure them away, but who in their right mind would risk their life to do that? I know the members of the Seizon family won’t do it. They haven’t activated their nascence space, so they wouldn’t benefit by going in there anyway. If anything, it could even put their lives in danger. Miya, Livya, and Cloud could get the job done, but I’m worried about their safety. Hmm…
With that in mind, Jared shifted his gaze toward Yorath and the others.
Since they entered the valley and killed nascence beasts in there, someone among them must’ve activated their nascence space and mastered some form of nascence! I could try working with them, but I did break Jonah’s arm, so I’m not sure if that guy from Behemoth Palace would be willing to work with me… Judging by the look in that guy’s eyes, I’m assuming he wants to kill that gigantic nascence beast as well.
Jared then told Miya and the others about his idea, only to have them object to it immediately.
“No way! Yorath and Genya can’t be trusted at all! If we work with them, we might end up dead at their hands before we even get to kill that gigantic nascence beast!” Miya exclaimed.
“Exactly! None of them are good people! Working with them is simply suicidal!” Livya said, objecting to his plan as well. There’s no way they’d want to work with us!
“Actually, it is possible for us to work with them. It’s the only way we’ll get to kill that gigantic nascence beast. Since I have no grudges with them, I’ll go talk to them about this. Besides, they want to curry favor with me, so they might just agree to work with us!” Cloud said after giving it some thought.
Huh? Yorath and Genya want to curry favor with Cloud? In that case, they might just agree to work with us! With that in mind, Jared said, “Go talk to them, Cloud. Tell them they’ll get to name their terms if they agree to work with us.”
