Chapter 3260 Top Courtesan
“Wait up, Yorath!” Genya called out as she ran after him. Jadiel, too, followed closely behind them. The sounds of combat grew louder as the three of them made their way forward.
Meanwhile, Jared was busy slaughtering the nascence beasts. With each nascence beast he killed, that nascence aura flowed into his body, causing the stars within his nascence space to shine brightly.
Right as Jared was getting a little carried away, he sensed people approaching and frowned in response. He then leaped into the air and put his guard up.
“What’s wrong?” Miya asked.
“I think there are three people coming this way,” Jared replied.
Miya was utterly confused. “Why would anyone be coming here? There isn’t anyone in the group planning to enter the ancestral land this time who has activated their nascence space. Why would they come here?”
Yorath and the others, who had just arrived at the scene, were frozen in shock when they saw Jared and Miya. So, these two are the ones who snuck into the ancestral land and killed these nascence beasts!
As Genya had always hated Miya, she lost her temper and yelled angrily, “How dare you bring an outsider into our ancestral land and kill these nascence beasts? Such acts of betrayal are punishable by death!”
Yorath, too, yelled furiously, “You went against the rules of our ancestors and brought an outsider into our ancestral land, Miya! Hurry up and apologize!”
Miya wasn’t afraid of them in the slightest, though. After slowly coming back down, she shifted her gaze toward Jadiel as she retorted, “You two brought an outsider in here as well! What do you have to say about yourselves, huh?”
“This is Mr. Jadiel of Behemoth Palace! He only came in here after obtaining permission from the head of our family and has the family head token! Does Jared have permission?” Genya asked. Miya froze as she didn’t expect her father to grant such permission to someone from Behemoth Palace.
“I didn’t get permission from the head of your family!” Jared said as he stepped forward.
“You must have a death wish if you barged into our ancestral land without permission!” Genya said while whipping out a magic sword.
Jadiel’s eyes narrowed as he glared at Jared with murderous intent. “Is this the guy who broke my brother’s arm?”
“That’s right! He’s the one who broke Mr. Jonah’s arm!” Genya replied with a nod. Jadiel exuded a terrifyingly powerful aura when he heard that. His muscles increased in size, and he became a lot taller as well.
“Calm down, Mr. Jadiel. We came here to master nascence, and we can only spend a limited amount of time in here. We can’t afford to waste time fighting him. This guy had the audacity to sneak into our ancestral land, so the Seizon family will not let him off the hook. You need not concern yourself with a dead man walking.”
Jadiel only calmed down after hearing that.
“Who said we snuck in here? Old Mr. Ozrell is guarding the outside. We couldn’t possibly have entered if he didn’t open the portal for us! Besides, Jared is practically half family to us, so it’s not against the rules for him to enter our ancestral land!” Miya retorted.
“Half family?” Genya didn’t understand what she meant by that.
Yorath, however, was quick to catch on. He shot Miya a disdainful look and said, “Does your shamelessness know no bounds, Miya? You and Jared haven’t even known each other for that long, yet you already slept with him?”
Having realized what Miya meant, Genya taunted her by saying, “You really are a shameless wh*re, Miya! I can’t believe you’d sleep with men that easily. Maybe you should go work at a brothel instead. You might just become their top courtesan! Think about the amount of money you’d make!”
