“Mr. Jadiel, what’s the matter?” Genya asked.
“Yorath, has anyone trespassed on the Seizon family’s ancestral land prematurely?” Jadiel queried.
“It’s impossible. The ancestral land is guarded. How could anyone get in early? Did you discover something?” came Yorath’s question.
“I sense that there has been a skirmish here, and the lingering traces of battle are evident,” Jadiel pointed out, his brows furrowing.
“Battle traces?” Yorath extended his spiritual sense but shook his head. “I don’t sense any lingering traces of aura here.”
“The opponent relied on physical strength, not spiritual energy or magecraft, so you wouldn’t detect the residual aura. But for us Behemothians, such an aura doesn’t escape our scrutiny,” Jadiel explained.
“Who could have entered the ancestral land ahead of time? With Old Mr. Ozrell guarding the place, the entrance to the ancestral land should remain closed, and no one should be able to enter,” Yorath pondered, wearing a puzzled expression.
“Yorath, is it possible that it’s Miya? I didn’t see her in the team this time; maybe she came in early,” Genya suggested.
“It’s unlikely. Miya hasn’t activated her nascence space. What’s the point of her coming here to kill nascence beasts?”
Yorath shook his head.
“That’s strange. Who could it be?” Genya also looked perplexed.
“Regardless of who it is, stay vigilant, and be careful not to be ambushed,” Jadiel reminded them.
The Seizon family was currently in turmoil with internal conflicts. Even if an ambush were to happen within the ancestral land, no one outside would be aware of it.

With a sudden mighty roar, a nascence beast appeared. Jadiel, excited at the sight, did not wait for Yorath to speak; he charged directly at it.
As Jadiel battled the nascence beast, Jared followed Miya and went deeper into the valley. The farther into the mountain range they went, the stronger the nascence beasts became.
Slaying powerful nascence beasts increased the chances of comprehending nascence, which was why Jared continued to venture deeper.
“Jared, if we continue deeper, we might encounter nascence beasts of unknown strength. I think we should reconsider going any further,” Miya said, appearing a bit nervous as Jared continued toward the depths of the mountain valley.
“Don’t worry. If we come across powerful nascence beasts, I can use techniques and weapons. It’ll be fine,” Jared replied with a faint smile.
However, just as Jared finished speaking, three nascence beasts appeared simultaneously. Coming in from three different directions, the three nascence beasts approached Jared and Miya.
Seeing this scene, Jared could not help but furrow his brows. Miya’s expression also changed slightly as she pulled on Jared’s sleeve.

“They do seem different. Nascence beasts are supposed to lack sentience, but these three, by surrounding us, seem to possess some level of intelligence,” Jared replied.
“What should we do?” Miya asked nervously.
“You hide off to the side. Perhaps, by defeating these three nascence beasts, I can finally gain insight into metal nascence,” Jared responded.
“Be careful. There are three nascence beasts. If needed, use your techniques and weapons,” Miya cautioned Jared.
After speaking, Miya found someplace to hide, silently watching Jared. The three nascence beasts paid no attention to Miya and continued to approach Jared step by step.
