Chapter 3240 Awakened Early
“Just wait, brat. I won’t let this slide!” Jonah glared at Jared before he was escorted away. Jared allowed Jonah to leave without interference, considering he wouldn’t be staying in Yellow Blue City for long. If Jonah decided to return for another confrontation, Jared would likely be gone by then.
“Let’s leave, ladies,” said Jared, glancing at Livya and Miya.
“Oh, okay.” Miya nodded upon snapping back to her senses.
Livya, still in awe of Jared, exclaimed, “Mr. Chance, your abilities are truly remarkable. Not only are you strong enough to defeat someone with a higher cultivation level, but you also excel in medicine, alchemy, magecraft, and illusion arrays. You’re an unparalleled genius, Mr. Chance! I doubt there’s anyone as extraordinary as you in Yellow Blue City or even the entire central region!”
“It’s not limited to the central region, Livya. I believe Mr. Chance might be unrivaled among young men in the entire Ethereal Realm!” praised Miya.
Jared felt a bit bashful in the face of their compliments. As they strolled down the street, engaged in conversation, a powerful aura suddenly surged from the direction of the Seizon residence. The aura rapidly expanded, enveloping the entire Yellow Blue City.
It resembled the shockwave of an explosion, spreading far and wide before dissipating swiftly. Detecting the aura passing above them, Jared’s group recognized it as a manifestation of nascence without a discernible source.
“What was that? What’s happening back home?” asked Livya.
“I don’t know!” Miya exclaimed.
“Quick, we need to check out what’s going on…”
Panicking, the girls sprinted toward the Seizon residence, with Jared following closely behind. When the trio arrived at the Seizon residence, it was already surrounded by people.
Everyone was looking at the ancestral land of the Seizon family. Miya approached her brother, inquiring, “What’s going on, Cade?”
“I don’t know. There’s a chance the ancestral land has been awakened,” replied Cade.
Miya was astonished. “The ancestral land has been awakened? How is that possible? Doesn’t it only happen once every decade? It hasn’t been ten years yet.”
“I’m not sure. Dad and Uncle Enrique went to inspect the ancestral land with a few elders. If it has indeed awakened, that would be fantastic news. I believe our ancestors must have sensed Cloud’s presence and decided to act.” Cade spoke, casting a quick glance at Cloud.
Puzzled, Cloud asked, “What’s the significance of the ancestral land being awakened, Cade?”
“Within that ancestral land, our forebears left behind numerous magical items and various free nascences. These are valuable resources for cultivation,” Cade explained. In response, Cloud spoke with slight awkwardness. “I haven’t attained nascence yet, though…”
“No worries. Did you think we all have? Even those who can’t absorb free nascence can still absorb other auras. A visit to the ancestral land would be beneficial regardless, if you’re granted entry. This place only opens once every ten years, so everyone is surprised it happened ahead of schedule. If it’s indeed awakened, then you’re one fortunate man, Cloud.”
Everyone remained silent, still unaware of the events unfolding in the ancestral land. Before long, Lawrence and Enrique emerged from the ancestral land alongside a few elders of the Seizon family, their expressions bearing a sense of bewilderment.
Seeing this, Cade hurried toward his father. “What happened, Dad? Did the ancestral land really awaken?”
Lawrence nodded. “Yes, it did, but we couldn’t determine why it happened earlier than scheduled.”
“You didn’t go in and ask Old Mr. Ozrell about it?”
