One of the cultivators, who had been waiting there for three days, couldn’t stand it anymore. After all, the men from Behemoth Palace still refused to activate the Teleportation Array even though there were hundreds of people gathered around.
“How dare you insult our ancestors? Die!” shouted one of the men from Behemoth Palace as he kicked at the cultivator.
The cultivator tried his best to dodge the kick, but his range of motion was restricted with so many people around him.
Boom!
The cultivator was sent flying by the impact and crashed into the ground behind the crowd.
Since the people present at the scene were all complete strangers, no one was willing to speak up on that cultivator’s behalf. As they still needed to use the Teleportation Array, they didn’t dare offend Behemoth Palace over a random stranger.
Although the other cultivators were dissatisfied with Behemoth Palace’s actions, they didn’t dare say a word about it.
“These guys from Behemoth Palace have gone too far!” Cloud exclaimed angrily.
“Hmph! They’re just a bunch of barbarians! I can’t believe they really think highly of themselves for guarding a Teleportation Array!” Feenix said with a disdainful snort.
The two men from Behemoth Palace had smug looks on their faces when they saw the crowd behave themselves out of fear. These cultivators are completely at our mercy! Since we control the Teleportation Array, we control them all!
Seeing as no one else would speak up, Jared said, “Beating people up over a mere verbal argument? You guys sure have gone too far!”
“Who said that? How dare you interfere?” the other guy from Behemoth Palace shouted angrily while glancing around for the culprit.
The crowd then stepped aside to make way for Jared and the others. They couldn’t help but worry when they saw that Jared and his group were all only Body Fusion Realm cultivators.
It’s fine if they’re powerful and all, but these people are far too weak to stand up to Behemoth Palace! Things are not going to end well for them!
The two men guarding the entrance burst out laughing when they saw that Jared and the others were only Body Fusion Realm cultivators.
“Which one of you three is the nosy one?” asked one of the two guards.
“It was me. You guys have gone too far by beating people up over such a minor thing. Besides, we’re all here to use the Teleportation Array. Since we’ve paid for it, that makes us customers. You shouldn’t bite the hand that feeds you. How would Behemoth Palace even make money if it weren’t for us using this Teleportation Array? You’ll starve to death if no one uses it!” Jared replied calmly.
As his words resonated with most of the cultivators present at the scene, they applauded him in response.
The two men from Behemoth Palace grew furious when they saw that. They were exuding violent auras as they glared daggers at Jared.
Right when they were about to attack him, an icy-cold voice rang out from behind. “Who dares badmouth Behemoth Palace? Do you have a death wish or something?”
The voice was followed by a strong gust of wind that knocked everyone back.
A young man then landed in front of Jared seconds later. The two men from Behemoth Palace quickly knelt when they saw him. “Greetings, Mr. Jonah.”
Jared narrowed his eyes and eyed the young man standing before him from head to toe. He had a tall frame, wore fancy clothes, and had two nose rings that made him look like a buffalo.
The young man had a disdainful look in his eyes as he stared Jared down.
