Jared had no desire to transform into a monster. If that were to occur, he feared his women would flee from him.
“What’s on your mind? Regardless of what’s contained within, it’s merely an embryonic form yet to reach its full potential. I’m suggesting you merge with it to harness its power, not to become a monster! I’m just a lingering soul remnant, so this is beyond my reach. Besides, those who are still living here are divine soul spirits as well. They can’t merge with the egg. If they could, this opportunity would never have come your way.”
Jared grew flustered when he heard that. “Sorry, Sir. I have too many women. If I were to become a monster, they’d all leave me. I’ll fuse with it now…”

There was immense pressure within the egg, and Jared’s body began shaking. Merging with such an incredibly potent egg was no easy task. If Jared’s divine soul was not sturdy enough, he would suffer a backlash. However, the middle-aged man seemed unworried.
“Hang on a little longer. As the Golden Dragon’s True Form, you can’t possibly be this fragile. So what if the egg is a manifestation of nature’s power? It can never defeat the Golden Dragon’s True Form,” the middle-aged man encouraged.
Roar! All of a sudden, a thunderous roar echoed in Jared’s mind. It was so loud it could destroy universes. Faiyar, who was within Jared’s consciousness field, could only lie on the ground in misery and endure the moment.
Jared was suffering at the same time. His eyes had turned red, and he appeared rather frightening. The roar went on, seemingly intending to: shatter Jared’s divine soul and destroy him. The giant egg seemed to have realized that someone was trying to merge with it and was resisting.
Jared was stunned to his core. This was just an egg, and yet, it already possessed such power and nearly crushed his divine soul. If the creature within were to hatch, he could not imagine what manner of creature it would be.
Perhaps the entire Ethereal Realm would be annihilated. Gritting his teeth, Jared continued to attach his divine soul to the drops of blood essence as he absorbed the power inside the egg.
At that moment, as though there was an energy chain linking his divine soul and body, the energy within the egg was getting transported outward.
As Jared struggled with the challenging. process of merging with the enormous egg. extending his hand to make contact with it, a shockwave erupted in all directions.
Out of nowhere, an immense wave surged forth, sweeping away all the cultivators who were drawing in spiritual energy from the spirit spring. What followed were torrents of spiritual energy surging wildly in all directions.
“What’s going on?” the people cried out as they stared at the spirit spring, which had been peaceful up until a second ago. Accompanying the massive wave was a deafening explosion..
A mass of black fog was quickly spreading and enshrouding everyone in it. It was at that moment the people panicked, thinking that the evil spirits in the area had come down to kill them.
