Viola accepted the bottle from him as her cheeks turned pink in embarrassment. It felt embarrassing for her to take the initiative.

Jared was surprised to hear her soft voice. He had no idea why she had changed her attitude toward him. As he remained silent, Viola pouted and added, “Why? Do you not want to go on a walk with me?”
Jared nearly lost his cool upon hearing her coy voice.
“Okay, let’s go,” he agreed with a nod. Jared and Viola walked through the forest together. Viola appeared to be filled with excitement as she took in the surroundings, likely due to having been confined to the cave for an extended period.
Taking in the wonder and joy on her face, he suddenly felt bad for her. Despite her young age, she had been burdened with significant responsibilities. He wondered whether she had the capability to wrest Emerald Cauldron Sect from Hosen’s control.
Suddenly, Viola asked, “Jared, after coming to Emerald Cauldron Sect and soaking in the medicinal pool, where are you planning to go next?”
Jared was caught off guard and unsure of how to respond. His plate was already full with numerous tasks: locating the Divine Bow, rescuing Josephine and the other women, searching for Infinides to save Ira, and journeying to Fire Incineration Sect to save the leader of Divine Smithing Sect. Explaining any of these matters to Viola would be a complex endeavor.

Jared avoided her gaze and replied, “I’m not sure I fully understand what you’re talking about.” “Okay, I’ll be straightforward. I want to become your partner. By then, the entire Emerald Cauldron Sect will be yours, including me. I might not be as good as your other lovers, but I will do my best to satisfy you.”
Viola went all out, her cheeks turning pink in embarrassment. “Y-You want to be my partner?” Jared could barely hide his surprise.
He had no idea Viola was bold enough to say that out loud. “Yes!” Viola nodded. “If you agree to help me get Emerald Cauldron Sect back, I’ll be your lover. You’ll get both fame and fortune. Isn’t that good?”
Hearing that, Jared chuckled aloud. It looks like Viola said that only so that I would agree to help her get Emerald Cauldron Sect back.
“Why are you laughing? Did I say anything wrong? After you help me regain control of Emerald Cauldron Sect, and we become partners, you can stay here and cultivate in peace. The entire sect will be yours. Whenever you need me, I’ll be at your beck and call,” Viola said, sounding serious about it.
