All of a sudden, a loud sound rang out as the figure disappeared into the darkness of the night. However, right before he left, the figure spoke to Jared through a mysterious echo. “I’m Leifr, and I’ll be seeing you again.”
Just as Jared was about to probe further, Brutus’ voice rang out from behind him. “What are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be guarding the camp? Are you planning to escape?”
Throwing Brutus a glance, Jared flatly replied, “I just came out to relieve myself.”
