Malphas knew he would not live if Jared died, and that was something the former wanted to avoid. He was close to recovering his spiritual energy -a day he had been waiting patiently for. Once his spiritual energy was recovered, he would be able to do whatever he wanted in the mundane world. Thus, death was the last thing Malphas wanted.
“It’s not a problem. You can go over first,” said Jared calmly. Seeing that, Malphas used the mark of Evil Heart Sect on his body to pass through the arcane array.
This time, Jared did not disappear when he walked through it. In fact, the scenery changed as soon as he stepped into it.

“All that’s left to do is wait for Jared. Then, we’ll activate the Spiritual Energy Restoration Formation. The mundane world will belong to us!” announced Tanner excitedly.
Quindon and the five purple-robed emissaries merely stood behind Tanner in silence. Their hearts raced with anxiety as they wondered if Jared had rescued their family members. “Lord Tanner, should I bring Jared over now?”
Standing beside Tanner was Skylar, who was full of energy. At that point in time, he was already a Top Level Manifestor. Once the Spiritual Energy Restoration Formation was activated, he could achieve Breakthrough and have the powers of the Body Fusion Realm. When that happened, he would be a half-immortal with the unique physique of Inferno Devil’s Form.
Skylar could already picture himself roaming in the Immortal Realm. He never imagined someone like him, who was once an ordinary martial artist, could join the Immortal Realm.

Tanner turned around to glance at Quindon, smiling meaningfully without saying anything. That smile of Tanner’s had Quindon shuddering and sweating buckets.
And when Quindon met the man’s gaze that seemed to see through anything, the former could not help but feel even more nervous.
