However, Jared was nowhere to be seen in the distance ahead. He was trapped in the arcane array, and the thought of it sent a rush of panic into Malphas’s mind. If Jared’s stuck in the arcane array forever, will the mark in my mind kill me?
Malphas was drowning in anxiety, but the same could not be said for the man in the arcane array. He could not be calmer as he studied the arcane array carefully. Although the arcane array was incredible, it was nothing to Jared.
With one glance, Jared found its core. Destroying the arcane array had become much easier now that the core was found.
After about ten minutes, Jared successfully destroyed the first arcane array, and he stepped out of the area shortly after.
Malphas’ face lit up when he saw Jared coming out of the arcane array after destroying it. As long as Jared was alive, the former did not have to die.

Jared smiled at what he heard. He knew Malphas had considered running away, but the latter simply chose to stay after weighing the pros and cons. “I’m glad you know where you stand. Well, I’ll spare you if you bring me into the dungeon,” said Jared.
