Upon returning to the mundane world with Flaxseed, Jared rushed straight toward Deragon Sect in Jadeborough. Not only did Jared want to see if everything was okay in Jadeborough, but he also wanted to visit his mother. Ever since he rescued his mother, he hadn’t spent much time with her.
Upon seeing Jared, Beatrice pretended to be angry and asked, “Jared, you were gone for so long, and I didn’t hear a word from you! Fortunately for me, Cecilia and the others have been keeping me company. When are you going to give me a grandchild?”

“Touch wood. If anyone’s dying, it’s you! Mr. Flaxseed, what do you need to talk to me about?” Jared asked. “I’m not the one looking for you. It was Godrick. He didn’t dare to show up because he knew your mother was lecturing you,” Flaxseed replied. As soon as Flaxseed finished his sentence, Godrick arrived.
“What is it, Godrick?” Jared asked. “Jared, someone came to Deragon Sect to look for you when you were away. That person said he had something important to tell you. However, I couldn’t reach you at that time. Thus, he left his name here and left,” Godrick answered.
