In the meantime, Jared was busy cultivating in Ethereal Realm by channeling his Focus Technique to absorb energy from the gold apatite. Time passed by in the blink of an eye, and two weeks later, Jared had finished absorbing the last ounce of energy in the gold apatite.
The initially shiny and golden gold apatite had become as dull as an ordinary stone. Seeing that Jared had woken up from his cultivation, Flaxseed quickly asked, “Jared, what cultivation level are you on now? I felt your aura change a few times.”
Jared let out a heavy sigh and felt the energy churning within his body. His eyes lit up as he replied emotionally, “I’m now a Sixth Level Manifestor. If I can get my hands on another gold apatite, I might become a Top Level Manifestor or even achieve the Breakthrough!”
Flaxseed pursed his lips when he heard that. “There’s something insane about your body. A gold apatite is filled with an enormous amount of power. However, you only went up several minor cultivation levels with it. I wonder how big of an amount of resources you’ll need to achieve Tribulator and become immortal. I think you’ll need more resources than what the entire Ethereal Realm can offer.”
Flaxseed was shocked to see the amount of resources Jared needed. Judging by his current progress in cultivation level, I’m sure he’ll need even more resources in the future. In other words, Ethereal Realm won’t be enough for him!
“I don’t know why I need more resources than others to cultivate. Nevertheless, my hand. seals might be the reason. I’m now a Sixth Level Manifestor. I wonder if I can finally utilize Dragon Bell!” Jared wanted to know how much control he had over Dragon Bell. If I can control Dragon Bell as I wish, it’ll be my trump card and a way to protect myself!
Right when Jared was about to take out his Dragon Bell to test it out, Flaxseed quickly stopped him and warned, “Don’t test it out here! If you do that, its aura will spread all over the place and attract the attention of the other prestigious families in Ethereal Realm. If that happens, we won’t be able to leave! Try it out in the mundane world, okay? After all, you’re not bound by the laws of nature.”
Jared thought those words made sense, so he abandoned the idea. After that, Jared whipped out his Divine Bow from his Storage Ring. With his right hand on the bowstring, he exerted strength and drew the bow to the fullest.
All of a sudden, all sorts of energy started to gather on the bowstring, and a golden arrow. soon appeared. Jared pulled the bowstring as hard as he could and held on to it. As he clenched his teeth, the golden arrow gradually became transparent.
Whoosh! Jared released the bowstring, and the arrow pierced through the air to create a giant black hole. The seemingly unstable black hole had a vortex inside of it.
Seeing that he had opened a passage to the mundane world, Jared shouted at Flaxseed in excitement, “All right. Let’s get out of here!” Zelda, the sword spirit, transformed into Dragonslayer Sword and entered Jared’s body.
After all, passing through a passage like that would take a lot of energy because one needed to protect oneself from spatial turbulence. After Jared and Flaxseed had leaped into the black hole, the black hole slowly disappeared.
Shortly after Jared and Flaxseed disappeared, an elderly with white hair arrived at the scene alongside a boy and a girl dressed as monks. “Master, why did you bring us here? Aren’t we supposed to go to Pentagon Monastery?” the female monk asked in puzzlement.
The elderly with white hair checked their surroundings and frowned. “This is rather peculiar… I thought I felt Divine Bow’s aura. Did I make a mistake?”
With that, the elderly waved his cane, and the three of them vanished into thin air.
