Lamar had felt an overwhelming sense of danger the moment Divine Bow appeared. Powerless to defend against the arrow, he could only watch it approach him rapidly.

The Divine Bow in Jared’s hand, especially, filled them with awe. The moment Jared took it out, the intimidating aura it emitted had even Chester and Wayne trembling.
They were lucky to be on the same side as Jared. If they were enemies with him, he would have been able to send them to meet their maker by using Divine Bow alone. “What is that bow, Mr. Chance? How can it be so strong?” Wayne asked Jared curiously.
“This is Divine Bow. I guess it’s considered a divine weapon. I can only harness a tenth of its power right now. If I could find a way to harness it fully, I might be able to shoot the sun down,” Jared replied calmly.
With that, Chester and Wayne were even more astonished. If he could defeat Lamar with only a tenth of Divine Bow’s power, then how powerful could it be at full strength?
At the sound of Jared’s claim, Lamar’s expression changed drastically. Although he did not know whether Jared was speaking the truth or not, he had gotten a taste of Divine Bow’s power.
“Jared, I can give up the Gate of Fire as long as you let me and my son go.”
Lamar knew he was fighting a losing battle against Jared. After all, he had already been defeated by Jared alone. If Chester and Wayne were to gang up on him together with Jared, he knew he would not be able to endure even a single blow.
Besides, the disciples of Zahrin Sect were close to being annihilated by the demon beasts. It was useless for Lamar to stay in the Gate of Fire. The secret realms would all disappear after the restoration of spiritual energy anyway. That was why Lamar was willing to give up the Gate of Fire to Jared.
