Brad’s face paled with fright when he saw that, and he spun around and started running. “You can’t escape!” Jared leaped into the air and landed a hard kick on Brad’s back, causing him to fall.
Boom! The latter landed with a resounding crash, creating a deep crater on the ground as a cloud of smoke billowed into the air. Santiago and the others were dumbfounded by the scene before them, not knowing what to do.
Thousands of people were being chased and torn apart by demon beasts. Howls of agony filled the air, and the ground was littered with disembodied limbs. Hailey could not help but close her eyes when she saw the gruesome scene.
Santiago was initially unconvinced that Jared could hold back Waxing Crescent Castle. Yet, not only did the latter achieve that, but he practically even wiped them out. He even took down Brad with ease!
The strength Jared had displayed completely defied Santiago’s expectations. The latter had no idea what Jared had gone through in the past few months to enhance his ability so swiftly.
Brad stood up from the deep crater, covered in blood and looking disheveled. “Jared, I am a purple-robed emissary of the Evil Heart Sect. Should you dare to kill me, Lord Tanner will make sure your girlfriend in the secret realm suffers a horrible death!”
Brad brought up Josephine to threaten Jared. After all, she was trapped in Divine Quest Sect’s secret realm, and the members of the Evil Heart Sect could attack her and the others at any .time.
“Have you forgotten what you just said, Brad? They will not be in danger before the Spiritual Energy Restoration Formation is activated. Lord Tanner would never destroy his life’s work for you, either!”
Jared was well aware that Josephine and the others with unique constitutions were critical to the Spiritual Energy Restoration Formation, so the Evil Heart Sect would be reluctant to kill. them.

After saying that, Brad took out a black token from his pocket, which was so dark that the writing on it was impossible to read.
He drew a drop of blood essence from his forehead, which was then absorbed by the token. The token emitted bursts of burning flames, and a figure slowly emerged from the flames.
The figure was dressed in black robes and seemed to be in a void as it was impossible to make out their features. However, as soon as the figure appeared, a terrifyingly malicious aura enveloped the entire Gate of Thunder’s secret realm.
Even the demon beasts stopped fighting and turned to stare in horror at the figure. “Master, this person’s aura is far too strong!” Feenix said to Jared with a grim expression after noticing the newcomer.
Jared, too, felt the aura, and at that moment, the Ultimate Force began surging within him. He furrowed his brows slightly, wondering why his Ultimate Force was reacting to the figure’s appearance with such intensity.
“Greetings, Lord Tanner!”
Brad quickly dropped to his knees upon seeing the figure. When Jared heard that, the muscles on his face began to twitch, and he clenched his fists tightly. Never before had he been this close to the supreme being of the Evil Heart Sect.
Santiago was also sporting a grim expression. He did not expect the strength of Evil Heart Sect’s Tanner to be so terrifying. I’m afraid there’s not a single person in the Eight Major Secret Realms who could go up against him!
“You worthless piece of trash! You can’t even handle such trivial matters. The other secret realms have already finished, yet, you’re still dillydallying and had to summon me over…” Tanner admonished Brad in a deep voice as the latter knelt on the ground, trembling all over. “I’ll take care of this. You can leave now…”
Tanner waved his hand, gesturing for Brad to leave. The latter hurriedly stood up, spun on his heel, and left.
