A look of disbelief crossed Brad’s face when he saw the phoenix flapping its wings. Jared’s phoenix was a real creature, embodying the essence of a majestic phoenix, while Brad’s hellhound was nothing more than a manifestation of negative energy.
“Jared, I can’t believe you received help from a phoenix, which is a mythical beast.” Brad couldn’t figure out why Jared was able to obtain help from a mythical beast with his current cultivation level.
After all, phoenixes only existed in the Ethereal Realm or the Immortal Realm. After successfully resolving Jared’s predicament, the phoenix gracefully circled in the air, taking a human form as it touched the ground next to Jared.
Everyone could barely hide their shock at seeing the phoenix turning into a young woman. After all, any beasts, including both demon beasts and mythical beasts, would need to possess incredible power to be able to transform into human form.
“Master, how dare this hellhound bully you? Let me destroy it!” Feenix declared. With a graceful wave of her arms, Feenix summoned balls of blazing fire from the heavens above. These fiery orbs descended swiftly, their intense heat and power aimed directly at the colossal hellhound.
Before the hellhound could even let out a single howl, the balls of fire struck their mark. Within moments, the hellhound transformed into a dissipating cloud of black mist, vanishing completely from sight.
“Brad, if you have other tricks, feel free to try them!” Jared announced, staring at a completely dumbfounded Brad. Brad was sporting a grim look. “Jared, you made me do this!” he hollered. Without warning, he spat a mouthful of blood onto the ground.
As the blood seeped into the ground, a profound tremor reverberated through the earth. A deep crack emerged beneath Brad’s feet, rapidly expanding in all directions. From the depths of the crack, a swirling mass of black mist emerged, followed by five towering figures.
The five demon beasts possessed an ominous. aura, their entire bodies shrouded in darkness. Negative energy emanated from their snarling mouths:
“Jared, these aren’t demon beasts formed by negative energy. They are real demon beasts from hell. Even if you have a phoenix’s help, you won’t be able to escape!” Brad declared vehemently as the five demon beasts surrounded Jared and Feenix. Seeing that, Santiago tried to step forward to offer help, but Jared stopped him from doing So.
“Mr. Hargreaves, just you wait and see. You don’t have to take action against Waxing Crescent Castle as I am perfectly capable of doing so, Jared announced confidently. He showed no fear even when five demon beasts from hell were standing right before him.
“Jared, you’ve already slept with Hailey. Why are you still addressing Santiago as Mr. Hargreaves? That’s too formal. I’m already waiting for the arrival of my grandchildren,” Roanna told Jared. Hailey’s cheeks turned pink. “Mom, what are you talking about?” Feenix turned her gaze toward Jared, who bore a slightly embarrassed expression.
“I want to give birth to a baby dragon for you too,” she told him in a low voice. Jared hung his head, not knowing what else to say. When Brad realized that Jared wasn’t nervous or worried at all despite being surrounded by so many demon beasts from hell, he flew into a fit of rage.
“Jared, I can’t believe you’re still flirting around when you’re about to meet your doom. I’ll send you to hell to keep my son company!” he uttered menacingly.
With that, he directed the five demon beasts from hell to attack Jared and Feenix. Feenix cast Brad a contemptuous look. “How dare mere demon beasts show my master disrespect?”
Her screech pierced through the air, casting a dark shroud upon the sky while the air trembled in response. From within the depths of the darkness, more than a dozen eerie shadows emerged. Eagles, leopards, tigers….
They were demon beasts with exceptionally strong auras! The demon beasts, which appeared out of nowhere, created an instant protective circle around Jared and Feenix.
Roar! Brad stood in stunned silence as the deafening roars of the newly arrived demon beasts echoed through the air, instilling fear in his own five demon beasts from hell. He was left utterly bewildered by the unexpected turn of events.
“A-Aren’t these demon beasts from the demon beasts’ secret realm? Why are they here?” Brad couldn’t understand why the demon beasts from the demon beasts’ secret realm would leave their secret realm.
Most of these demon beasts had become sentient and could understand human language. However, they couldn’t travel using the Teleportation Array. He was baffled to see them at Gate of Thunder’s secret realm.
