The phantoms were also ignoring Jared’s presence as if he wasn’t there. Jared was dumbfounded. Why can’t I attack those phantoms here? After a few more tries, Jared eventually gave up.
With Dragonslayer Sword in his grip, Jared walked mindlessly around the area surrounded by mountains. As he was walking, the skeletons on the ground exuded wave after wave of icy aura. What exactly happened here? How did so many people die here? Shortly after, Jared stumbled upon a giant skeleton, and he couldn’t help but gasp in astonishment.
The skeleton was over ten meters high, and it was still completely intact. However, it was a strange sight because not only was the skeleton in a kneeling position, but its bones. were also shiny and crystal clear. Besides, it was exuding an intense wave of aura.
Again, Jared was baffled. Judging by the size of this person’s skeleton, he seemed to have been a lot bigger than Hadad. Other than that, they look the same! Even the bones are crystal clear! Still, I’ve never seen this giant before. Although the skeleton is in a kneeling position, I still have to lift my head to look at it!
As Jared was scanning the skeleton, he noticed that there was a crystal clear arrow in the skull. If I hadn’t taken a close look at it, I would’ve missed it!
Jared then slowly floated into the air to get closer to the skull. Right then, he noticed that. the arrow was only a few inches long. The arrow is in between the brows! Hence, the owner of this skeleton was most probably killed by this arrow!
Curious, Jared reached out his hand toward the arrow. He wanted to pull it out to see if it was a magical item. Right before he could touch the arrow, Jared suddenly felt a sense of danger. In the next moment, the arrow shone brightly and unleashed a wave of intense aura to send him flying backward.
Jared was flung a few dozen meters away before crashing onto the ground violently. Upon impact, Jared felt his internal organs churning and spat out a mouthful of blood.
Obviously, Jared’s body was incredibly strong at that time, and he had Golem Body activated. By right, not even a Martial Arts Sovereign could cause an injury of that severity to him. Yet, the arrow almost killed Jared with its aura.
After getting injured, Jared took a deep breath and stared at the arrow. If it’s capable of unleashing such an intense wave of aura, it’s definitely something extraordinary. It might be a magical arrow!
At that thought, Jared used his spiritual energy. to unleash waves of aura to resist the overwhelming pressure the arrow was exuding. Again, he tried to approach the arrow. I need to take it out to have a good look at it!
The moment Jared got closer to it, he was sent flying away once again by an enormous wave of aura. Jared tried a few more times after that, and it was clear that he couldn’t get close to the arrow.
Even when Jared was unleashing the Power of Dragons, he still failed to get close to it. Evidently, the aura the arrow was exuding was a lot more intense than Jared’s spiritual energy and the Power of Dragons.
After several attempts, Jared’s face was as pale as a sheet, and blood was streaming down the corners of his lips. “F*ck! How am I not strong enough to retrieve the arrow? I refuse to accept this!” Jared was seeing red.
When Jared tried again, he suddenly noticed that Ultimate Force in his body was shining brightly. Seeing that, Jared quickly unleashed his Ultimate Force. As soon as he did that, the arrow in the skull shone brightly as well. In fact, it even started to vibrate.
“Can Ultimate Force control the arrow?” Jared unleashed his Ultimate Force continuously and made his way toward the arrow.
