Jared was starting to get the gist of the situation after listening in on their conversation. I see… Another entrance to this secret realm has opened up in the hidden realm. That’s why the people from the hidden realm are able to get in here!
Seeing as the guys were getting closer and closer, Jared held his breath and suppressed his aura completely for fear of being detected. Hugh from Stormwind Sect and Wrey of Flying Star Sect believed that Jared killed their sons, so they were hunting him down to get their revenge.
With Jared’s strength being restricted by Heavenly Law, all he could do was pray that those guys would not find him there. On top of that, he also wished he could run into Matthew and the others from Luminous Sect. That way, he would at least have some allies to back him. up in case he got into a fight.
Jared also wished Yashur would enter the secret realm with him. With someone as powerful as Yashur on his side, Jared would have no reason to fear those guys at all.
Although he was already doing his best to conceal his presence, Wrey still noticed him when passing by. Wrey then paused in his tracks and turned. toward the direction Jared was hiding in. “Who’s there? Come on out!”
With that, the entire group followed his gaze and stared in Jared’s direction. Since he could no longer remain in hiding, Jared slowly rose to his feet. Wrey had never met Jared, so he asked the latter with a confused frown, “Who are you?”
All he knew was that Jared was not from the hidden realm. “Jared? What are you doing here?” Garthor exclaimed in surprise when he recognized Jared.
Wrey’s entire body exuded a strong murderous intent when he heard Jared’s name. “This secret realm doesn’t belong to you, so why can’t I be here?” Jared snapped back at Garthor. “You…”
Garthor was about to attack Jared in frustration when Hugh stopped him. “This guy is very powerful. You might not be able to defeat him in a fight.”
If Tucker was no match for Jared, then Garthor definitely doesn’t stand a chance! Little did they know, Jared’s strength was being suppressed so much that even Garthor would be able to beat him with ease..
“So, you’re Jared?” Wrey asked while stepping forward menacingly.
“Yes, that’s right! And who might you be?” Jared responded. “I am Wrey Lindt of the Flying Star Sect. You killed my son, Avery Lindt!”
The murderous intent in Wrey’s eyes intensified when he mentioned Avery. “I told you: I didn’t kill Avery! It was Elgado of Scorching Heaven Sect who absorbed his powers! His death had nothing to do with me!” Jared explained.
“Do you really think I’d believe you? I know you’re very powerful. In fact, you’re so powerful that even our best assassin, Sonyx, has died at your hands. However, you were unlucky to have run into me today! I won’t let you off so easily!”
Jared froze in confusion when he heard that. Sonyx escaped long ago, and I didn’t even bother to go after him, so how did he end up dead?
