A Man Like None Other Chapter 2196

While eyeing Rupert coldly, Jared reached out a hand and grabbed the man’s soul-locking staff. Then, he held the staff with both hands and exerted strength on it, snapping it.

Afterward, he shot his leg out and kicked Rupert in the chest, which sent him flying as well. Sprawled across the ground, the Twin Grim Reapers stared at Jared incredulously.

They were both Fourth Level Martial Arts Gods, yet they were thoroughly defeated by a mere Martial Arts Saint. Not only had their weapons been destroyed then, but they had also sustained injuries.

“It looks like we’re doomed today, Rupert,” Nigel remarked solemnly. “Even if we die, we’ve got to pull him down with us! From the look of things, it’s time for us to sacrifice ourselves!” Rupert replied.

As he spoke, he took out a small porcelain vial and opened it. On the heels of that, terrifying wisps of lethal intent wafted out. Sensing the lethal intent, Jared frowned, for it gave him an intense sense of danger.

Just as he was puzzled as to why those wisps of lethal intent were so horrifying, he saw them converge into a human-like figure. Opening its massive mouth, it devoured the Twin Grim Reapers. The sight of that surprised Jared even further, and he was wholly baffled by the two men’s actions.

“Ah!” Immediately afterward, the Twin Grim Reapers started shrieking in agony. They had both been swallowed whole by the figure, and their screams were coming incessantly from its belly.

That made Jared all the more mystified. He simply could not fathom what was happening. Skyler was so frightened that her face paled. Never had she seen anyone who acted so ruthlessly toward themselves.

Shortly after, the Twin Grim Reapers’ cries of pain ceased, while the human-like figure slowly started solidifying. A man with half his skin black and the other half white appeared in front of Jared without at stitch on. “How shameless! You’re a downright scoundrell”

At that sight, Skyler cursed aloud and spun around. Meanwhile, the capabilities of the man had gone up a notch, and he was a Fifth Level Martial Arts God.

Jared studied him in surprise, not quite understanding what had transpired. Hmm? Could it be that the Twin Grim Reapers were devoured by this man, consequently leading to this outcome?

“You forced our hand, brat! We’ll definitely finish you off today!” The man spoke, but the voice belonged to Nigel. “Exactly! We merged into one to kill you!”

Next, Rupert’s voice drifted out of the man’s mouth. Jared snorted coldly and spat, “Humph! Regardless of whatever black magic you’re using, all of it is useless before me. Make your move.”

Upon hearing his taunts, the man let out a hoarse roar that sounded like the cry of a beast and charged toward Jared. His speed was as fast as lightning, and the aura that burst forth from him carried gusts of intense wind.

Seeing that, Jared did not use his body to take the hit anymore. Instead, he lifted the balls of his feet and promptly leaped dozens of meters into the air.

The man’s punch missed its mark, but the terrifying wind swept over the forest behind Jared, uprooting hundreds and thousands of trees. In the blink of an eye, a clearing came into existence.

When the man saw that his punch did not find its target, he jerked his head upward and stared at Jared, who was in mid-air, before leaping up in the same manner. In the next second, countless fist shadows manifested and surrounded Jared.

Bam! Bam! Bam! Innumerable blows landed on Jared, knocking him out of mid-air. Upon seeing him crash to the ground, Skyler cried out in concern, “Mr. Chance!”

After the man smashed Jared to the ground, he did not bother sparing the latter another look but turned his gaze to Skyler with a lascivious glint in his eyes.
