The Black Gold Robes were not easily swayed and even brought up Josephine and the others to threaten Jared. Enraged, a burst of murderous aura emerged within Jared’s body. Turning his icy gaze toward the Black Gold Robes, he spoke in a low, threatening tone. “Release the woman immediately, and either take your own lives or suffer the consequences.”

As the two men breathed their last, dark mists began to rise from their bodies, twisting and writhing before escaping in different directions. Skyler watched in astonishment, her mind reeling about the possibility of the soul remnant escaping. She had never encountered anything like this in the hidden realm.
