Chapter 1670 Another Chance For You
Jared sped to Warriors Alliance with Evangeline. Right as he was a distance away from Warriors Alliance, he froze.
It was because he sensed Josephine, and her aura felt intense. “How can this be? Could it be that they’ve released Josephine?”
A look of shock crossed Jared’s face, and he quickened his pace. When he arrived at the entrance of Warriors Alliance, one of the members went to report it to Skylar.
“President Norton, Jared has arrived,” said the member. Skylar’s confidence was palpable as he uttered, “Good, he has finally come. Let him in.”
“Are you sure you can take Jared down?” the spirit asked Skylar again.
“Be at ease. I’m ninety percent sure of this. As long as Jared is ready to give up everything to save his girlfriend, he won’t be able to escape this,” Skylar said with a sneer.
He had already set up a trap for Jared. All he needed to do now was infuriate Jared and make him lose his rationality.
The doors to Warriors Alliance slowly opened, and Jared entered with Evangeline. The Black Copper Robe warriors instantly surrounded the two of them.
When Skylar realized that Jared had brought someone else with him, he frowned. “Jared, you’ve broken our promise. Aren’t you afraid that we’ll make your girlfriend suffer?”
Jared glanced at Evangeline and replied, “She’s just a corpse right now, so she can’t do anything but follow me around. I can’t make her leave anyway.”
At that, Skylar narrowed his eyes. A ray of light shot out from them and veiled Evangeline. Indeed, Evangeline had no life in her at all as she was like a puppet.
Only then did Skylar finally let out a sigh of relief. Averting his eyes from her, he then uttered, “Jared, I never thought you’d fall from grace and start creating zombie puppets. However, this zombie puppet is so pretty. Yet, she has no life in her at all—no power at all. You can’t have created a zombie puppet like this so that you can sleep with it, right?

I wonder what those girls who have a crush on you would think if I were to spread the news about this,” Skylar mocked, his grin growing wider and wider.
However, Jared looked unfazed as he flashed the other man a smile. “What you want to do is none of my business. You haven’t summoned me here to say such nonsense, have you? If this is all you have to say to me, I’ll have to say I don’t have the time for you.”
Skylar burst out laughing. “Hahaha! Of course not! Can’t you sense your girlfriend’s aura yet?”
“I know you’ve been wanting to rescue your girlfriend, but Warriors Alliance’s dungeon is protected by an arcane array. That array is something you cannot break.
However, I’ll give you a chance today. I’ve brought your girlfriend out. As long as you can rescue her from us, Warriors Alliance will never stand in your way again.”
With that said, Skylar waved. A flash of light appeared behind him, and Josephine, who had been caged, materialized.
When Jared saw that Josephine had been locked up in a steel cage and was pale and weak, rage churned inside of him.
Skylar began laughing at the growing anger and murderous intent in Jared.
“Fuck! You! Skylar!” Jared roared.
Dragonslayer Sword manifested in his hand, and he swung the sword at Skylar.
While a burst of sword energy slashed in Skylar’s direction, Jared swung his sword again to unleash another flash of sword energy.
The second burst of sword energy was directed at Josephine’s cage.
Skylar scoffed. With a swing of his hand, he released airwaves.
