Chapter 1653 Leave Now
“Perhaps we should leave now. We’re totally unprepared. I’m afraid barging in like that isn’t the way to go,” Flaxseed said, trying to persuade Jared to leave.
“Let me try again. We’ll retreat if I fail to enter this time.” Jared was not ready to give up as he slowly walked toward the brick gateway of Skywrath Sect.
This time, Jared took a very cautious approach. He activated his spiritual energy and pushed it to the extreme before taking each step.
Buzz! Just when he was about to set foot into Skywrath Sect, the air trembled all of a sudden.
Jared was promptly startled, and he backed away almost immediately.
Following that, a white-haired elderly appeared in the air, as if his image had been projected by a screen projector.
“Who dares to trespass upon this place? Leave now!” the elderly roared with a stern expression, and his tone was downright glacial.
Stunned, Jared was at a loss as he stared at the elderly floating in mid-air.
As for Flaxseed, he fell to his knees with a loud thud and greeted the elderly politely, “Sincerest greetings from a humble disciple, Elder.”
“Who are you? Leave now!” the elderly reiterated. His voice was still icy cold.
“Sir! We have great admiration for the charm spells of Skywrath Sect! We are here to seek guidance!” Jared expounded as he gazed at the elderly.
“You imbecile! Skywrath Sect is not somewhere you can wander in and out freely. It’s best if you two leave the place now. Otherwise, don’t blame me for being ruthless!”
Having said that, the elderly abruptly disappeared.
Subsequently, another overwhelming wave of energy shot out from the depths of Skywrath Sect.
Nevertheless, Jared was well-prepared this time. He immediately swung a punch when the wave of energy shot out.
His golden fist shone brilliantly as it intercepted the wave of energy.

The collision caused the ground to shake as if the whole world was trembling under the impact. A loud ringing noise reverberated incessantly at the same time.

Noticing the look in Flaxseed’s eyes, Jared could tell that the former was incredibly afraid and nervous earlier.
“It looks like we’ve got to plan wisely before entering Skywrath Sect. Indeed, there was a reason why the ancient ruins of Skywrath Sect were written on the last few pages of that book…”
Jared let out a long sigh after saying that.
Alas, I can’t withstand the martial energy of the Skywrath Sect, even with my Golem Body and crazy physique… What lies ahead is beyond contemplation, I suppose.
Meanwhile, Augustus and his subordinates were still waiting for the duo outside the ancient ruins.
All of them were surprised to see Jared and Flaxseed get out alive. At that moment, all of their eyes gleamed with admiration.

With that, he suggested, “Mr. Chance, let’s return to the sect to get some rest, shall we?”
Jared merely nodded in response. He stole a glance at the entrance of the ancient ruins before leaving.
