Chapter 1517 Assault On The Spiritual Sense
Jared was stunned as he could tell that the voice belonged to Fernando. He looked down and found Fernando standing a few hundred meters away, staring right up at him.
He didn’t understand why Fernando was telling him all this, nor did he have the time to figure out why he did it.
“Brat, aren’t you a bad*ss? Why can’t you break away from the arcane array?” one of the Black Copper Robe warriors mocked.
Jared narrowed his eyes and tightened his grip on the Dragonslayer Sword. He knew that it was going to be a fierce battle.
“Release!” In the next moment, a thunderous boom rang in Jared’s ears. The martial arts arena started to quake, and the space became distorted.
Jared looked around and noticed that the people around him had started to disappear. Eventually, only he and his enemies were left in the martial arts arena.
He knew that the crowd had not disappeared. Instead, he and his enemies were merely teleported to another dimension.
On the other hand, the audience was watching the battle between Jared and the four Black Copper Robe warriors from a different dimension. It was as though a screen projector was projecting their images in mid-air.
“Go to hell!” the four Black Copper Robe warriors shouted in unison.
Deafening sounds from every direction surrounded Jared. The next thing he knew, he almost lost consciousness.
“Attack on the spiritual sense…”
Jared’s face paled as his mind was flooded with a ray of white light. He never expected them to make that move. They quickly followed up with an attack on Jared’s mental energy while he was panicking.
That was because the mental energy would be at its weakest during a state of panic and could easily be crushed.
The four Black Copper Robe warriors launched their attacks while Jared was still in a daze, hitting him with four light rays.
The powerful force instantly sent Jared flying. However, after a few hundred meters, Jared’s body collided with an invisible force that knocked him back to earth.
He pulled himself up and took in his surroundings but saw nothing in front of him. However, an invisible shield suddenly appeared out of nowhere when Jared reached out into the vast nothingness.
“You won’t be able to break away from this space unless one of us dies, so don’t even think of running away. Come at us with everything you’ve got!”
With that, one of the Black Copper Robe warriors waved his arms in the air, and his black sleeves rushed toward Jared as if they were spirit snakes.
His other three comrades immediately followed suit. The next moment, Jared was restrained by their sleeves.
His body was dragged back into the air as the four Black Copper Robe warriors applied force.
Jared’s face clouded over as his body shimmered with golden light. In an instant, the Power of Dragons within him intensified as he tried to break free.
However, their sleeves were made of extremely tough material. No matter how hard Jared struggled to escape their grasp, all he was doing was tiring himself out.
“Mr. Chance…”
Lachlan frowned when he saw that Jared was being restrained. He was about to rush out to rescue him.
Howard and the Dunn family’s elites also stood up, ready to jump in at any moment.
They wanted to rescue Jared.
After all, the Dunn family wouldn’t have made it if it wasn’t for Jared. They owed it to him. Hence, Lachlan couldn’t stay still anymore as he couldn’t bear to watch Jared die in front of his eyes.
It was important for the Dunn family to return the favor. Otherwise, they would never be able to hold their heads high again in the martial arts world of Jadeborough.
Fernando stopped Lachlan from making a rash move. “Lachlan, calm down. You won’t be able to rescue Jared by rushing over blindly. The barrier will crush you and your family before you can even lay eyes on him. It’s not over yet. Jared won’t be defeated so easily.”
