“Zion has set up an arcane array in the martial arts arena. He’s obviously doing this to deal with you. It seems that the Warriors Alliance is determined to take your life. They will make a move against you, even in front of so many people,” Fernando said.
Jared knitted his brows when he heard that. “Mr. Chance, you’d better not go. As long as we bring Ryker over, Edgar will not refuse to exchange hostages even if you don’t show up. We will bring Ms. Renee back safely,” suggested Oakley while looking at Jared.
Now that he knew the Warriors Alliance had set up an arcane array in the martial arts arena, there was no way he would let Jared make an appearance.
“I still have to go!” Jared’s eyes darkened. “Listen. If things really do go south later on, please bring Renee back to Medicine God Sect, and don’t worry about me. Even if I can’t defeat them, I’ll find a way to escape.”
Oakley wanted to convince Jared further, but the latter stopped him with a raised hand.
Left with no choice, the group walked toward the martial arts arena together with Jared.
Meanwhile, Edgar grew anxious upon seeing no sign of Jared in the martial arts arena.
Frowning, he said, “Jared is not afraid, is he? Or did he find out we want to deal with him and dare not come?”

It was evident that Ryker had been beaten. He appeared pretty disheveled at the moment and no longer exuded the vibe of the head of the Deragon family.
When Edgar saw Jared, a murderous intent instantly burst to life in his eyes.
Zion, on the other hand, narrowed his eyes. “You’re finally here.”
Jared entered the martial arts arena with Ryker and fixed a cold gaze on Edgar. “Edgar, I’ve brought your father here. Release Renee now, and I’ll give you your father back.”
“What a despicable person you are, Jared! How dare you make a move against my father? Listen well! The Deragon family will never spare you for this!” Edgar spat those ruthless words to keep their family’s pride upon seeing Ryker had been beaten up badly.
Then, he waved a hand, gesturing for his subordinates to release Renee.
The woman rushed toward Jared. Her eyes were full of excitement as she spoke. “Thank goodness! I didn’t expect you to be alive, Jared.”
Tears began to stream down her face. She was delighted to know he was still alive.
“Now isn’t the time to talk about this, Renee. Quick! Follow The Villainous Four and leave here immediately,” Jared whispered.
Not knowing what was happening, Renee obediently scurried toward The Villainous Four. Under Jared’s stern gaze, The Villainous Four could only leave the place with her.
“Jared, I already let the woman go. Why haven’t you released my father yet?” Edgar questioned coldly.
“Don’t worry. I’ll definitely release your father, but not now. You see, I never expected the Deragon family and Warriors Alliance to be so despicable and shameless. You guys even laid an arcane array in this martial arts arena to capture me. Too bad for you, I won’t give you that chance. Let your father escort me out of Jadeborough first, and I’ll naturally release him after that.” Jared flashed a cold smile as he held onto Ryker with one of his hands.
“You’re despicable and shameless, Jared!” Edgar yelled, infuriated.
“Yeah. I’m despicable. Anyone who dares to offend me shall pay the price with their lives and their family’s.” Jared didn’t care about Edgar’s insults and prepared to make his way to the exit with Ryker.
Seeing that, Zion immediately ordered the four Black Copper Robe warriors, “Now!”
In an instant, the four Black Copper Robe warriors leaped up and surrounded Jared.
