A speedboat was floating on the raging sea. There were four passengers—Salvador and the other three.
The four of them stared at the seemingly bottomless sea with grave expressions. It was pretty clear to them that they would have to risk their lives to complete the mission.
If the mission were easy, the other sects and families would’ve already sent their men to get the beast cores secretly. After all, the beast cores were valuable and tempting resources.
However, no one was willing to risk their lives as it was too difficult a mission.
“All right, we should head down. If we survive, I believe President Zeigler will reward us well,” Salvador announced.
Having said that, he swallowed the water-avoiding bead. The only way they could stay underwater for a long time was to rely on the help of the water-avoiding bead.

The four of them jumped into the sea and swam toward the seabed.
Inside Bliss City, a golden glow emerged from Jared’s body as his aura swirled and grew, spreading all over the city.
It was yet another breakthrough for him as Jared achieved the third realm of Nascent Soul. Thus, he looked even more like an immortal now.
He exhaled sharply. “Well, I finally made a breakthrough. I wonder how much time has passed.”
Since getting stuck here, he had long since lost track of time.
He muttered under his breath, “It’s time for me to leave, but how do I do that?”
Jared’s brows furrowed together.
He was currently deep down in the sea. Without a boat, it was practically impossible for him to return to land.
Besides, he would be terrorized by demon beasts on the way up.
Right as he was wondering what to do, Jared was stumped when he sensed a few auras.
“Someone is coming?” he blurted out in surprise.
Why would someone come here at this moment?
Despite his surprise, Jared concealed himself to see who they were.
Soon, Salvador and the other three appeared. The four men were shocked to realize that Bliss City was still in one piece.
“I can’t believe Bliss City is still in one piece! It hasn’t collapsed!” someone yelled out loud excitedly.
If Bliss City was still intact, that meant it would be easier for them to get the beast cores. They wouldn’t be in that much danger.
“This is strange. Dragon Island sank, but Bliss City didn’t collapse. I wonder if Jared is still alive,” Salvador said thoughtfully.
He immediately thought of Jared after discovering that Bliss City hadn’t collapsed.
“It has been nearly two months, so Jared must be dead. This city is far away from any land. Without a boat, Jared couldn’t have possibly survived,” someone chimed in.
Salvador reminded them, “We need to be careful inside. I have an ominous feeling. Let’s leave right after we get the beast cores.”
With that said, he led the rest into Bliss City.
Inside, Jared overheard their conversation from his hiding spot and got to know that he had been here for over a month. It meant that the New Year holidays had passed.
Hmm, looks like everyone out there thinks I’m dead. This is a good thing. I am in the dark while the Warriors Alliance stays out in the open. This way, I can do anything I want!
Soon, Salvador and the other three entered Bliss City. They couldn’t hide their shock at the empty scene that greeted them.
There were no beast cores in sight. All they could see were rubble and ruins.
“W-What happened?” one man blurted out in disbelief.
